We stayed here as a cheaper alternative to The Village where we were attending a family party. The attic family room had a double bed in the middle and two singles either side so great for a family. It seemed clean enough and the beds were quite comfy but the shower was tiny. However, the hotel is very poorly sound proofed and we could hear multiple other guests while we were in our room. A mini rave seemed to be going on at about 5pm but that didn’t really bother us as we were just getting ready to go out. Perhaps a Saturday night is busier/noisier than average and it’s very difficult for the hotel to police excessive noise from guests but you can hear church bells from the hotel and I heard them ring every hour from 1am to 8am along with two male guests talking loudly between 4am and 5am, a male guest who forgot/lost his keys and was shouting to be let in at 6am and the sound of someone vomiting in their bathroom at 8am. So unless you can sleep through anything, I wouldn’t stay here.

Although the hotel was a little tired, it was clean and the service was very good. We were still in lockdown when I stayed so was unable to use the dinning room and breakfast was delivered to my room but I was made to feel welcome and would stay there again.

A lovely, warm and comfortable hotel in the centre of the leafy suburb of Far Headingley. A well-appointed room, a nice shower and bathroom. The Indian restaurant next door is great too. No breakfast on offer at the moment due to covid, but the breakfast is really nice too!
