We booked a 2 night spa break to celebrate my husbands birthday. Check in was smooth, room had everything we needed, including a birthday card and chocolate truffles for his birthday which was a nice touch. Spa treatments were fantastic, both of us felt so relaxed after, very good quality. Breakfast was good, not too busy either days, only had pastries one day and ran out of white bread the other but didn’t let this bother us. Bit more of a limited menu at dinner time in the restaurant then previous visits but we still enjoyed what we picked both nights. Most of the staff were excellent, everyone friendly and helpful. Phoned down to reception to ask if could borrow a bottle opener, lady came straight up but with wrong type so took our bottle and came back with it 5 mins later in an ice bucket and with glasses! Excellent!

We had previously been to this hotel for a spa session so decided to book a 2 night stay for my birthday. We arrived about 4pm on the Monday, checked in then just chilled out until dinner. Had an excellent dinner. The next day was my birthday and we started with an excellent breakfast and then at 12 we had 2 treatments each in the spa followed by a swim. Dinner was again excellent and we ordered 2 glasses to celebrate my birthday. The staff then gifted the rest of the bottle to us as a birthday gift. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent, particularly in the restaurant. Will certainly come again.

Sleep Quality
Room Tip: Go for the lower numbers if possible. Our room was 160 and it was quite a walk.

This used to be one of our favourite places to visit for a night away. The rooms were lovely and the food in the restaurant used to be a highlight, as did the service. After a poor experience on a recent visit we were given a complimentary night. Assuming the poor service on our last visit was a one off we came for another night. To their credit check in was swift and efficient but things sort of went down hill from there. We loved the rooms when we used to visit frequently many years ago, the issue now is that nothing has changed in the rooms since then and they are looking extremely tired. There are chips in all the woodwork, marks on the wall, even a hole in the wall, mould in the shower and a half drunk can of drink in the fridge! We went to dinner in the main restaurant and things just got worse. After 20 minutes of no one coming to our table at all I went back to the front desk to ask if there was someone to take our order, or at least bring us some water. She then came and took our order, 20 minutes after that my wife went back to the front to ask about our water and the wine. The poor girl serving us came over with the water and it was obvious she had just been thrown in the deep end with very little training. Our food finally turned up 15 minutes after that and the waiter had no clue what wine we had ordered. Even the food was nothing like the quality it used to be. At best it was average pub food. I’m writing this from our room and we wait to see what delights await us at breakfast. Sadly I think his might be our last visit.

We are a group of ladies who have visited Norton Park on three previous occasions and we always have a wonderful time! The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The spa treatments were excellent- so relaxing, with friendly, professional staff. The evening meal was very enjoyable. A special mention to Uday Padia, who went out of his way to ensure that we were well looked after, and was present at breakfast the next morning, with a warm welcome! He worked tirelessly. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, and it is a very peaceful location. We will be returning again as we always feel well looked after, very welcomed and leave feeling refreshed and revitalised!

My wife and I did a six week trial of they gym and 'spa'. Cleanliness The levels of mould and ingrained dirt throughout the 'spa' and swimming pool is frankly shocking.  We raised the mould in the changing areas with a member of staff who was very defensive stating that no one had previously reported any mould and that the changing areas were cleaned every day.  The member of staff eventually said she would get the changing area inspected and get the mould removed asap. A week later, nothing had changed (see photos) Additionally, there are other areas of dirt, rust and mould in other parts of the spa and a dip in the floor of the gym that is a clear trip hazard. Cleaning equipment was left lying around the changing rooms. Gym Painfully dated equipment and dreary space. The floor is rock solid so all three small mats need to be used to provide barely adequate cushioning for any floor exercise.   Reported damage to equipment but not fixed two weeks later. The air-conditioning was switched off during two of my visits which made the gym uncomfortably hot (noted by other members at the time). Many of the lockers in the men's changing rooms are not working.  Pool and 'Spa' Again pretty disgusting. Staff are incredibly rude and abrupt. A small example (there are many others): my wife visited the spa with a friend (having booked a massage for them both).  She asked for a robe but was told very abruptly and loudly that these were for people who had booked a spa day only.  My wife felt that as a paying member who had booked a treatment, she should have been given a robe. I reported all of the above and sent photos to the hotel's management only to be told that they would not be giving us a refund  it they could offer an extension to our trial membership 🤣.
