We went to eat at the hotel restaurant and really loved it. It has been recently renovated and the decor is very nice, with good lighting and large windows overlooking both the River and the inner garden The atmosphere was very quiet and the waiters very attentive and professional. As an appetizer they put us a very good quince aioli and an olive mayonnaise also very peculiar. As a starter we ordered croquettes were really delicious you can not miss them!!!! And from main course Pepe Pla rice highly recommended with wagons and longaniza. Dessert was also a fine apple pie with vanilla ice cream. It has become our favorite Sort site. Fantastic little family hotel. We have stayed in one of the simplest rooms they have and we have to admit that it has exceeded our expectations. When we arrived we saw that it was beautiful, a very welcoming reception/hall supervised by Misha, the cat who lives there. The staff who checked us in made us feel very comfortable, they were very nice.
The rest of the common areas are fantastic, fantastic furniture and decoration and the room and bathroom are very well maintained. The only suggestion I would make is to put in a kettle. Otherwise, the room was very good.
The breakfast is magnificent and the restaurants are also renovated and beautiful. The menu is also fantastic.
The Spa is managed although not everything worked correctly and the access of children as well as adults talking from one side of the pool to the other is annoying. The massages were also highly recommended.

Good facilities, but lousy service. We requested double bed before traveling and were given the excuse that they had no more beds, we had to sleep in separate beds. The front desk clerks didn't help anything. They reported SPA , which we paid for and it turned out that half of the equipment in bad shape (cold pool, spoiled pumps and wet sauna without service). Lovely hotel - ideally located in Sort for a week of activities in the Pyrenees. Family Suite was big enough for four (2 teenagers). Room was kept impeccably clean daily. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and spoke English to help us with our limited Spanish! The pool was perfect for an afternoon of relaxing after a morning of high adrenaline activity! (We used La Rafting Co for all our activities - rafting, canyoning, hiking, kayaking, via Ferrata etc). The restaurants serve great food, formal in the hotel and tapas in the garden!
