It needs to be updated, the price is not in line with comfort and facilities. There were ants in the bathrooms and there was no fridge. We went in the summer and we needed to put water in the fridge, but there wasn't. Of course, there was fresh water at the entrance of the hotel.

Dirty hotel, the room with dampness and a bad smell. The photos of the rooms on the website have nothing to do with reality. The breakfast is very basic, of poor quality and the service is non-existent. I think it is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I hope no one makes my mistake.

We stayed two nights at Les Brases. It has a good location: 5 min walk to the center, two supermarkets in the neighbourhood and free street side parking in front of the hotel. There is a one Michelin star restaurant Fogony next door which serves a fair priced menu and wines.
The room was big, however ours was facing inner courtyard, try to get one facing the street and river for views. In addition to two normal beds the room had two pullman beds for kids. Good wifi and ample breakfast with eggs cooked to order.

We recently stayed at this very reasonably priced hotel in Sort for a few days while we were rafting and biking. It was very centrally located, immaculately clean and staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family room for four people. This had two single beds and two bunk beds which were big enough for teenagers. The room was big enough for all of us and had a good and very clean bathroom en suite. Our deal included breakfast which was enormous and delicious.

The last time we stayed here was in March 2010, as we frequently visited Port Aine ski slopes, we just kept coming back to this hotel, great value for money on stay and food. Right on the main road through, parking is not an issue. 30 mins away from the ski slope. We noticed this stay same staff as three years previous a great Portugese waitress who remembered us and was so polite. This time they have added cooked items for the breakfast which was a great idea. Rooms are warm with underfloor heating and a nice view over the river passing by. The items cooled on la brassa are superb, I enjoyed my longaniza, and it was cooked to perfection. We will as always return to this hotel, may even try some summer sports out in this area. Oh and by the way the shower pressure is amazing specially after a hard days snowboarding.

Riding through Andorra was better than expected and I enjoyed the ride to Sort. Sort had a busy canoe vibe as people were practising for the World Championships. Easy to find the hotel and my room overlooked the river. Staff were nice, breakfast good and secure bike parking. I stayed a couple of days, people watching and riding Vielha, Pont De Suert return. TheC13/C28 is a good road and Port de La Bonaigua gives you great views.

We were traveling through the area and ended up in Sort for the night. We stayed at Hotel Brases and had a nice clean room that had everything we required. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. We also ate dinner at the hotel where the menu of the day was a good deal. We can recommend this hotel for anybody staying in the area.

As we pulled up to our hotel it looked very nice and quaint. The reception was professional and the man there was helpful. We got to our spacious room and it looked nice (a bit odd with all the childish stickers, but whatever). But the bathroom, and shelf above the bed were FILTHY! There was dirt on the bathroom floor and the toilet definitely wasn't cleaned! It's a shame because it could be a very nice hotel...
