I really enjoyed by week's stay at B&B Casa La Doce Vita. Gaspare is extremely hospitable. We got an authentic experience with a great breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfy. I'll definitely be back!

Stayed there for a night while visiting family...what a great place to stay!
Lots of room and fantastic breakfast served on the balcony. Parking on site made it all a great place to stay. Gaspare was the perfect host!

The owners were extremely pleasant! The room was nice, and the bathroom was very nice! Breakfast was very good, cappuccino was to die for! Highly recommend for a weekend getaway, or family stay. Wine groves, shopping close by, fantastic! The pool looked great but I didn't get a chance to use it.

You might be put off by the surroundings at first. Casa La Dolce Vita is located in a row of simple houses across from a large apartment complex on the back side of a faded industrial area in a small town that was rebuilt (and not elegantly, at least in this part of town) after the original, old, Gibellina was destroyed in an earthquake. This is not exactly the kind of surroundings you might envision for your Sicilian holiday. You won't be inclined to take a romantic walk in the evening.

But if the geographic location is right, and you are content to drive away during the day to see the sights, and view this B&B as only a place to sleep, it's quite pleasant. Our room was large, we slept well in comfortable beds, the bathroom was very clean and quite large, and the breakfast was excellent.

The owner, an educator who likes to use his English, plied us with lots of information about the area and recommendations to restaurants and other attractions.

Like many B&Bs in Sicily, this is an apartment with the bedrooms let out as a bed and breakfast. The owner seems to live away from the property, and will be quite concerned to make sure you have communicated your arrival time. But he was attentive and helpful when we arrived. Your car is behind a locked gate; the apartment is up one flight of exterior stairs. The decor is simple. The price is right.

Very nicely decorated and comfortable rooms with bathroom, very clean. The owner very friendly and helpful: all information about opportunities for trips and tours of cultural and natural attractions in and around the town we got early on. Great location as a base for day trips (Trapani airport is only 51 km). At breakfast they served local delicacies - rich and very tasty! Prices favorable. I recommend to everyone who will be there as a tourist or on business.

In July 2014, I visited Gibellina Nuova and stayed at the B&B La Dolce vita. This B&B is situated in the centre of Gibellina Nuova in South-East of Sicily. My room was comfortable, spacious with a very useful shared kitchen and a free parking space. Breakfasts were particularly impressive. Importantly for me the B&B reached high standards of cleanliness and was clearly well managed. The owners were welcoming but discrete, and exceptionally knowledgeable which made planning our trips much easier. I think having such comfortable accommodation made the trip for us, especially when returning from a tiring day's exploration. The ancient
temples and beautiful beaches are a must see! The week I spent at the La dolce vita and its surroundings was a real pleasure. Overall, my stay matched expectations and
definitely value for money for the more adventurous traveller. I have no problem in recommending the B&B La Dolce vita to anyone planning a trip to the Belice Valley.

My wife, two young children, and I stayed at Casa La Dolce Vita for two nights in April of this year. The owners were fantastic in every respect. This was our first time in the Sicily and they made sure we were comfortable with our accommodations (we shared a large, bright room and ate wonderful regional breakfasts) and on our tour of the region (which they organized for us). We plan on visiting the Palermo region again soon and will definitely stay at Casa La Dolce Vita again!

Very nice, all new, clean, calm, enough space; good position for visiting the western part of the Sicily. You can count on the owners help, they are extremely helpful in every way. They can organise your trip or simply advise you where (not) to eat, what to see, where to go... so one can feel more safe and secure.

B&B Casa la Dolce Vita is a cute b&b located in the very heart of western Sicily. It is the perfect starting point to enjoy the beauties of Palermo, Trapani, Salemi, Marsala, Selinunte, Segesta and even the Egadi Islands, not to forget the architecture pearl of Gibellina.
Gaspare, the owner is very helpful and smiling. We rented for free some bikes at the b&b and went for long drives in the countryside, and that was a great experience. The food is great!
There is also a free place to park your car.

Everything perfect: the room, the services, the breakfast with the flavors of Sicily. What characterizes the place, however, is the hospitality of Gaspare: his indications, his passion, his culture make you admire the beauties of Gibellina and Belice with the wonder they deserve.
