Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.

We were only saying for 2 nights so the lack of space was not n issue for us but if you are staying longer you need to ask for a larger room. To say the room was compact is the best to describe it, with no wardrobe just a space with 2 coat hangers and a bottle of clothes freshene

This room was booked for us by a travel agent. The rooms are clean but very small even for Japanese standards. Location is good and transports is close by. Staff is very hit and miss. We stayed for 3 nights but probably 2 nights too long.

Stayed here 5 nights. Overall a nice enough hotel. Convenient location next to train station and I enjoyed staying in a quieter part of Tokyo. The first thing you’ll notice is the room is very small. This was the smallest hotel room I stayed in during my time in Japan. The safe i

Very small hotel but good enough for us to stay for 6 days. Clean, comfortable and convenient to access all the sight seeing areas such as Tokyo Skytree, Asakusa, Akihabara, Ueno. Just 2 minutes walk from the Tawaramachi station. Even from the Haneda airport, could be just reache

May I know how far is disneyland from your hotel? And how far are you from Narita Airport?
My flight is at 10 pm from Haneda. Is possible to check out late or will I be charged an extra night shall I leave at 6 pm?
hi, 1. does this hotel help with receiving luggage before check in (i.e, im travelling from kyoto, and i sent my luggage in advance)?. 2. does this hotel help with luggage forwarding to haneda airport (having TaQbin counter or similar to that)? the reason im asking is because i will be travelling with my wife and 3 yo daughter, so it will not be convenient if i have to bring lots of luggage + stroller. thanks
1. Yes I'm also using TaQubin during my stay, I just email the hotel and inform them that my luggage will reach on the day I check in (you can decide date & time to reach when sending the luggage with TaQubin) 2. This I'm not sure, you may ask the hotel do their counter have service contact with TaQubin. I always love to use the taqubin service whenever I travel in Jpn, it's so convenient!
