The five of us had a wonderful stay at Mimaru Kinshicho! We stayed in a one-bedroom Japanese apartment. My husband and I and our two boys slept in the bedroom while our daughter slept in the Japanese room. The boys loved that there was a bunkbed and our daughter appreciated a room to herself.
The apartment was clean, modern, and quiet, with room enough to spread out! Having a kitchen/dining area was fantastic for eating breakfasts in and snacking in the evening. The kitchen came equipped with plenty of tableware. There was a cute Muji fridge, as well as a microwave, and a toaster we were able to "rent" for the time we were there. I love the setup of the toilet and sink areas being separate from the bath/shower room. Beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was the best.
I wish there was a washer/dryer in the unit itself for extra convenience but the ease of being able to do laundry on the first floor was the next best thing.
Mimaru is about a five minute easy walk from the station. After a day of sightseeing, we would come back to Kinshicho station and enjoyed going down to the grocery store on the basement floor of Termina and shopping for breakfast for the next day. Staff were very friendly and checking in and out was easy. Being able to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in time was also very convenient and much appreciated.
We found Mimaru Kinshicho very comfortable and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!

In our hotel the washing machine is not inside the room itself, however, our coin laundry located on the first floor of the hotel has 8 washing machines and 8 dryers available 24 hours a day which can be convenient to accommodate your sightseeing schedule. I was impressed by the polite and calm attitude of the team. Many of the staff spoke English, which made me feel at ease as I am half Japanese. The various rental items were also very useful during my two-week stay. There are restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, stations, karaoke, and many more within a 15-minute walk, so I think it is extremely convenient. For families with children like me, it may be best to avoid the izakayas and girl bars around the hotel at night. Overall, it was perfect. I am impressed with all the staff at Mimaru Kinshicho!

The environment and space here are great, and the staff at the counter are also very friendly! The hotel is also very generous and allows you to borrow a lot of things without pressing you to return them. I will choose this hotel again when I come to Japan!

We especially want to call out the amazing service by Owen and Rishil (I hope I’ve spelled your name correctly). They went above and beyond in helping us with a confusing luggage delivery service - which are very handy if you are traveling with lots of luggage and don’t want to lug it around on the trains. These two helped look up and confirm that this service was coming to pick up our bags as promised.
Aside from this, the hotel was clean and well-kept. It was in a good location to get to trains and had plenty of Family Marts, Lawsons, and 7-11s around for quick snacks. The staff is multi-lingual and we saw lots of international travels with families here. We definitely recommend this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

It's hard to find accommodation for families at a reasonable price, but this place is really nice. The facilities are clean and it's a good place to stay when traveling to Tokyo. It's a spacious accommodation that's a 3-4 minute walk from Kinshicho Station, so it's perfect for starting the morning with a cup of coffee at Starbucks. Recommended as an accommodation for families. There was a Korean manager at the accommodation, so I checked in smoothly on the last day. I liked the picture of the Mimaru accommodation so much that I asked about it and they said that the illustration depicted the Mimaru accommodation as a story. By the way🥹 Thank you for taking care of my precious person by my side.

In the last 19 days trip to Japan, we stayed in 3 different MiMaru family hotels. This one at Kinshicho is as good as the rest. While there are 8 washes and dryers, there are hoarding going on where 1 person actually use 4 machines and dryers concurrently. Couldn't do much except to wait till past midnight to do my laundry.

The staff were always helpful, the rooms were well cleaned and the balance between room facilities and cost was fantastic. The location is very convenient and the local options for easy dinners etc are great. Access to the Skytree area and many big store chains in Tokyo is good. (Be aware, for families, that it's a bit of a red-light district nearby and you may need to avoid certain streets or be willing to explain certain things to your kids...)

The Mimaru was an amazing hotel to stay at. We stayed at Mimaru hotels in both Tokyo & Kyoto. Both were spacious for a family of four. The rooms were extremely clean and well maintained over our two week stay. Both were centrally located by train stations. The staff were at all times amazingly helpful and friendly. And the art at Tokyo Kinshico was beautiful.

iExcellent place to stay as and great location. Very close to the train station and a lot of restaurants and shopping malls nearby. There are convenience stores steps away from the hotel so great to get a quick bite/drinks. Staff at Mimaru Kinshicho are warm and welcoming. Very helpful. Love the coin laundry facility it offers and room is spacious with a dinning area and stovetop in room. Would definitively stay here again for future returns to Japan!
