Fantastic view from anywhere in the hotel. Staff members are young and friendly, trying to make you feel comfortable. I personally didn’t love the hotel decor but if you like Roppongi maybe old Roppongi, you’ll love it;)
Food is tasty&beautiful, special drinks are unique (some are funny). I just don’t understand why all the fruits even lemon for tea were so dry.
Not many customers yet so maybe okay to start preparing after the order is made?
Due to COVID-19, fixed menu is served in the chefs restaurant instead of club lounge. All were great but if you’re a vegetarian, ask the details of the menu.

The hotel is located right next to Hamarikyu Garden and Gardenview rooms provides the spectacular view from the veranda.
As Bonvoy PT member and my suite upgrade coupon, I was upgraded to Chapter 3 room. This room has two toilets and a very large living area with dining table which can be used for meetings. The bedroom has a big glassed corner to look out into the garden and the whole city including Tokyo Tower and Skytree. Quality of furniture and furnishings are very good with Imari Towels. The only drawback may be the iPad type of controls for the room which may take some learning.
From Club Lounge, you can see Tokyo Tower and Skytree and enjoyed the high quality food they provide during Happy Hours We had Japanese beef with balsamic sauce! This is the best food I ever had in a Bonvoy Club Lounge.
I highly recommend this hotel if you like a relaxed environment with good food. I had a Staycation here and had a very memorable experience. The staffs are relatively young, but they go out of their way to provide the service and made us very comfortable.

This is a hotel in search of a sense of purpose. Located on the waterfront at Takeshiba Pier, this hotel is isolated yet doesn’t offer enough amenities to overcome its locational challenges. The room is quite comfortable and the service is good but the dining choices are lacking and despite trying to be a luxury hotel, I was forced to wait for everything. There was a wait to check-in; the club lounge was full at cocktail time and for dinner, the lone restaurant was fully booked for the evening in advance. The bar has a limited food menu but not up to the standards of a luxury hotel and given the lack of choices nearby, this is unacceptable. The gym is still closed so on a rainy day, taking a boat ride or walk in the nearby Hamarikyu Garden were not appealing choices leaving the hotel lacking optionality. Unless you are looking for isolation and bring your own food, this is not a great choice.

Stayed on a regular Saturday, and it started with a long queue at check in. Stood in the queue for 5-10mins and then taken to a seat. The staff asked my name and then left without informing me anything. I was left alone for 20mins in the crowded environment (with occasional baby crying) even though the group sitting nearby was getting detailed explanation from staff. Unlike many other Marriott hotels, there is no separate lounge/club to help with the process.
Later I realized that it’s not only the check in process getting affected by the crowd. I was told that breakfast typically takes 30-40mins of queuing, and to avoid that, it’s recommended to arrive before 8am. That was a fair warning as I ended up waiting for 50mins (in room, thankfully). Unlike similar hotels, the included breakfast cannot be converted to in room dining even with extra charge.
The room is definitely above average, comparable to while not necessarily better than similar hotels. The view is not nearly as good as the check in area, and I was out of luck for a balcony, but the limited availability is understandable. There can be some nitpicks such as the basic bathroom area, but overall it looks nice with interesting elements, and is in good condition. There was no turn down service.
Hotel staff almost entered the room while I was resting with privacy indicator on. It’s nice of them willing to clean the room on the check out date, but I wish they have exercised a bit more caution.
With its pricing in line with many luxury hotels in Tokyo, the quality doesn’t seem to match well. For certain parts, I feel like staying at home would be more luxurious than this. Not to blame hotel staffs as they were friendly and seemed to be trying their best, but “too many guests” is never an excuse for the level of quality we all paid for. I wonder if this has been considered during its design (looking from the outside at night, it doesn’t seem to be that full), but customers shouldn’t be the ones responsible for it.
My experience could have been a lot better if I stayed at less popular times. However, I have also learned from staff that it has been like this on every weekend. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel over other luxury branded ones in more accessible locations such as Akasaka, Roppongi and Otemachi, which provided better experience even at the busy times such as the golden week.

There's a lot to love about this hotel! It's close without being too claustrophobic to the city, the design is super duper cool, and the views are drop dead gorgeous. It's fantastic in so many ways and feels like a super unique, interesting, and inviting hotel. Also - I loved how unique and special my room was and the warmth of staffers like Yuki at the club suite lounge. It's amazing in so many ways!
However, there's a bit left to be desired in some areas such as the breakfast, which is cool for 1 day, and then gets a bit old having the same omelette (in various different flavors, but still) over and over again. I wonder what's going to happen if I stayed for a week. I don't think I'd be able to stomach it for longer than a few days. Also it took forever to get seated for breakfast in the first place, which was annoying.
Also - I was a bit annoyed inconsistent taxi policy. I had the staff order taxis for us a few times (for no charge), but one time when I made the request, they told me they had to charge my room 100 Yen. When asked why, he explained it was a 'handling fee'. However, when I asked why he was charging me this one time but not the other times, he couldn't explain why. I thought it was a very strange experience as NEVER, ever had I ever been asked to pay for the staff at the hotel to order a taxi; especially for a guest staying 3 nights. They also charged me 100 yen to send a fax, which seems a bit pedantic considering the price we paid.

The hotel is quite new so the hardware is great and impeccable. It’s not in Ginza itself but close enough.
Nearest train is the Takeshiba station of the Yurikamome line. From there, you can go to Shimabashi station (2 stops) and connect to other major lines.
Check-in was efficient. Staff were polite and accommodating. They thoroughly explained the hotel amenities, mesm club, breakfast area and times. We were also accompanied to our room where a staff showed us all the hi-tech room amenities, including a digital piano and an iPad that controls the room.
Topnotch room amenities. The lotion, body wash, and hand wash were very fragrant.
The minibar is FREE and refilled every day. Plus points!
Also, there’s an ice dispenser in the floor so it’s very helpful.
You can make your own matcha tea.
Breakfast is limited but high quality. I always have the snow crab omelette and whatever is their noodle of the day. I love the pastries, but they’re standard at any luxury hotels.
The staff from the bellboys to the reception, housekeeping, restaurants were all warm and friendly.
Overall, we had a great stay.

Stayed at this newly opened hotel in mid-Dec for five nights and the experience was awesome! The hotel is stylish. The staffs are friendly and helpful. I just booked a standard room for my stay and hoping my Bonvoy Elite status would get me nice upgraded. However, the hotel was fully booked over the weekend so I was only upgraded to higher floor. I didn’t complain because when I check the website all rooms were sold out. I try my luck to request again after the weekend the staff was very helpful and I was finally upgraded to a balcony room which offer spectacular view over Tokyo. Breakfast is good too with many choices. The only downside is the location. The closet subway station is just 3 mins walk but it is not on the main line, so very often you need to walk 8-10mins to another station.
Tips: book balcony room if you want to get the real taste of this hotel. This hotel is often fully booked especially at weekends. The staff would do as much as they could to help but don’t always expect upgrade even you are elite members.

Dear pkpklala-sama, Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us at mesm Tokyo, Autograph Collection. We would also like to thank you for taking the time to give us a feedback. We are relieved to hear that you relished your stay. We are glad that you got to enjoy our breakfast and the magnificent view from the balcony; we love the beautiful combination of the Hamarikyu Gardens and the Sumida River too. As you point out, our hotel is a 6-7 min walk from Hamamatsucho (JR) and Daimon (metro) stations, but we believe that the location is no other given the fact that it’s by the ocean/river and easily accessible by local Yurikamome Line to tourist attractions such as Odaiba and Toyosu Market and the business center Shinbashi. We will continue to strive to provide a unique hotel experience to our guests. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Hisashi Oinuma General Manager mesm Tokyo, Autograph Collection

5 out of 5! No complaints whatsoever.
The service was top caliber, scenes were unmatched, rooms were impeccable and the value was beyond worth it.
We really loved the 25th floor bar and could not believe the view.
Will return and can’t wait to be back in Tokyo!!!

MESM Tokyo Hotel is one of the best hotels in Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵
The atmosphere, location, services, and staff. The staff speaks multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
I would recommend this hotel for the upcoming unique stays in Tokyo for those who are looking to distinguish him/her self-care with special treatment.

The star is for the view (if your room is assigned with view). The other star is for new and functional room.the level of professional service is dar away from the product and the price.
The superior or Star Service desk seems to ignore everyone passing by. They are lack of service attitude. They do not communicate among team of service.
As Titanium Member, they put chocolate and two empty glasses of Champagne without telling they prepare sparkling wine in the refrigerator till it was too late to enjoy.
At the bar restaurant, wine was poured without tasting allowed. The food ordered for 2 persons (basic salad for both) not served at the same time.
Most importantly one room of my booking with #MarriottBonvoy points redemption was cancelled by the hotel in the morning of arrival (after online check-in complete). The supervisor or assistant manager at Star Service counter said it’s your problem with Marriott- not the hotel.
The level of polite communication is low. They don’t no to say yes but Em or Euheu
I easily decided to cancel the booking which had been made for returning stay 3 days after check out.
One time here is more than enough.
Waste of time and emotion.
