We stayed at the dome hotel in Tokyo as the quilt show was next door, the hotel was very good in cleanses but they charge you for drinking water in the room and any coffees or tea you use. No spoons and no milk providing and we asked reception if we can have some milk in the room for tea and they wanted 850 yen to charge us.
Also there was no place to sit in reception areas so you have to go in the room for a chat with a friend, tv. Couldn’t get BBC NEWS AND NO ENGLISH .

We stayed at the Tokyo Dome hotel our last 2 nights in Tokyo. While the location was decent, they didn’t have a non-smoking room available even though that was what we requested when we booked it. The carpet was sticky and the room just smelled and felt like cigarettes despite the deodorizer. In the US, this would probably be the equivalent of a Days Inn.

Hotel rooms and in fact the entire hotel is extremely clean. I was attending a quilt show at the Tokyo Dome, which was just next door. Breakfast was very good and a large choice was available. During busy periods, there could be queues for breakfast and for the lifts. The hotel is used to dealing with international visitors and had signs/information available in English. The hotel is situated very close to a metro station, meaning that you could easily travel around Tokyo from here. There is lots to see and do in the Bunkyo area e.g. an amusement park, La Qua shoping centre and nearby gardens. There are also a wide variety of shops located here including a Don Quixote which is open 24hours a day. Lots of restaurants in the area. Felt the hotel bar and restauraunt were very over-priced, so went out for meals and drinks.

The location was great as the surrounding areas had much to see especially with shopping, entertainment and eateries. However, during the Winter Break, it was very crowded with Bands performing in the Dome. That's what made the shopping and eating difficult in the area as there were long lines everywhere even for elevators. But, all in all I liked the location.

For pure convenience when attending two nights of Wrestle Kingdom at the Tokyo Dome, this hotel can't be faulted.

The area has plenty of options for food, albeit with a western feel (with such names as Taco Bell & TGI Fridays).

The room was spacious, with a large bathroom and bed comfortable.

Would definitely recommend if heading to the Dome or Korakuen Hall for events.

This is our 4th time staying in Tokyo Dome! Probably that already summed up everything I need to say :) Yes, we love Tokyo Dome.

General: 8/10
+ Friendly staff
+ Tokyo Dome area with restaurants, chemist, entertainment, convenience store inside the hotel
+ Close to Station
+ Close to Don quijote :)

Room: 8/10
+ Air Purifier
+ Auto Toilet
+ Soundproof room
+ Comfy bed

- TV Channels still bad, unless you understand Japanese perhaps :)
- Room can be quite small, especially when you bring many luggage (we had connecting rooms)

Restaurant: 8/10
+ Big space
+ Good breakfast
+ Choice of buffet or Japanese breakfast

- Like most hotels in Japan, they barely changed the menu (we stayed for 6 nites) and 95% of the food were the same

Overall: 8/10

Will be back again!

I stayed here for the 59th Miss International pageant that was held at Tokyo Dome. The dome is right next to the hotel so it is very convenient to stay here if you have an event. There are also many function rooms available. The rooms were very spacious, clean - bathrooms are also very big. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Japan and these rooms are a lot larger than the usual size you find here. Short walk to the shopping centre and amusement park. Buffet breakfast was incredible!! Would definitely recommend to stay here!

I highly recommend the Tokyo Dome Hotel for Americans and English speakers.

Staffing levels matched the massive size of this hotel. So that meant there was always at least one employee around, at any hour, who spoke English and could answer my questions. TDH employees were always quick and enthusiastic to help.

The weekend I stayed here, the Yomiuri Giants were at home so the atmosphere was electric with Giants and BayStars in the neighborhood and at this hotel. It was convenient and fun to walk to a game.

I came into the stay worried that I wasn't staying in a major neighborhood like Ginza, Shinjuku or Shibuya. But I found this wasn't an issue at all. There are so many train lines at the TDH doorstep and other nearby services (markets, drug stores, fast food), it doesn't feel like you're not in a central neighborhood.

So I'd highly recommend this hotel, baseball season or not.

Hotels in Tokyo were expensive but I managed to get a good deal at this Hotel through Agoda booking engine. Booked for 4 nights stay.

Getting to the Hotel was easy. From Suidobashi Station, it was just a few minutes' walk. There is also another station, Korakuen Station (METRO) , nearby. Getting to the many attractions in Tokyo was easy, through these 2 stations.

We got a room on the 36th floor and the room was clean, big, and cozy. The view was also fantastic! We also had free drinks in the fridge to enjoy. The 4-night stay was really enjoyable!

Near the Hotel, there are cafes, supermarket, restaurants, and shops. Within the Hotel, there is a 24-hour's minimart,. Also, the self-service laundry was such a wonderful service to have!

The staff were friendly and helpful. I got my luggage couriered from Kyoto to Tokyo Dome Hotel and the staff promptly sent it to my room. The staff was helpful in providing me with information on getting to Narita Airport.

Staying at this Hotel, completed my wonderful Japan Trip! I am looking forward to my next trip, staying at this Hotell again!

Terrible service. I paid for a room for 2 adults and 1 child, with breakfast. They told me I have to pay extra for the child. And then insisted that it doesn’t include breakfast. What did I pay an extra $50 per night for, if it does not even include breakfast for a room that has a breakfast rate??
