Check-out entro le ore 11.

I recently stayed for a work trip. Even amongst these times, I’m never ceased to be amazed. The hotel was 10/10 as far as cleanliness. Sheets, linens, bathrooms public areas. All immaculate. The staff was very friendly, helpful and I could tell they spoke many languages. They were advising others on good nearby eating and sites to see. Felt very private and quiet. I would never guess this is a 2 star hotel. I’ve stayed at many 2 stars places, that you hope to never encounter, in your worst dreams. This place felt like you were staying at a 4/5 star hotel and I was definitely treated, that way. I am definitely looking forward to staying here again and I highly recommend it for a short weekend or a ten day holiday.

On a very "run-and-gun" trip through Italy in 2014, was booked in Albergo Stella, which we found upon our arrival, was closed! It's very hard to find alternate accommodations when you don't speak Italian and no one else speaks English. Anyway, the taxi service right outside of the train station found Albergo La Villetta. The gentleman who ran the place was incredibly nice, recommended a great place to eat, and was very happy to have us as guests. Not only did he save us, but it was a lovely stay as well. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

La Villetta is spartan, but clean, with a friendly staff. Think of a clean dorm room (who ever saw one of those?) with on suite bath. The best thing about La Villetta is that everything in the very wonderful town of Sarzana is close at hand, within a few minutes walking distance. It does not pretend to be more than what it is - a clean, spartan, well located place to stay.

We payed 65 euros for a double. Clean, very sober, with a totally outdated style of furniture and walldecoration. Beds was awefull. I guess you can find a better place in this nice town. The guy at the desk was friendly.

The people who run this place are pompus and opiniated. A room attenendent commented on the condition i kept my room. I informed the manager and more or less they commented that the person who made the comment was a relative and i should ignore it. Not offering an apology. The next day again i was scolded with another room attendent present. I then decited to change hotels finding a more pleasant residence in La Spezia.
