Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Poor amenities, why? ang pool is 200 for adult and kid is 100 per 1 hour only, if nag excess bayad ulit. Internet access? 300 per room daw exclusive only for room na naka bayad, but with the same password with the whole resort kaya if may nag bayad na ibang tao makakaconnect din kaya lalo hihina connection, and the worst is my cut off din ang access.. Sana bagohin niyo policy niyo para maganda balik balika..
White sand? ❌ madumi na, maitim pa.

The place is closer to GenSan so we chose it for convenience. The view was great but the beach has a lot of stones it was hard to walk in the shore for a swim. When we arrived at 2pm, the house we rented was still being cleaned up. The last who occupied it took their time and left late. The staff apologized profusely. It was ok but the cleaners were talking and taking their time, no indication they’re in a hurry to finish the work. It was annoying. A lady who sweeps the frontyard took almost all day for the job talking to other staff and watching what’s going on in the beach. Are these staff? We could have done her job in 30min. Its a nice place but if the manager will look into this, the place would even be nicer to stay.

This place is one of the closest resorts to General Santos City. We came here for a day trip. The staff were accommodating and the place is not crowded since walk-ins are not allowed.

When we arrived in the morning the tide was low so we had to walk a bit far from the shore. We found ourselves in the grassy area of the seabed where we saw sea creatures (fish, jelly fish, sea urchins, corals). The water was quite clear and my nephew/niece enjoyed snorkeling. One has to be careful no to step/disturb any sea creatures.

After lunch the tide was higher and we did not have to go that far. We were able to find a sandy area where we enjoyed more time swimming.

We supposed to stay their for 2 nights. However for the first night they didn't gave us some blankets. My husband asked and they wanted to charged us 40pesos per blanket. We paid 6500 per night for a room which supposed to have a blanket . The only thing they have in our room was a sheets and pillows. 2nd one their heater was broken. It wasn't working thanked GOD my uncle checked it. He said the water is coming out from the wall it can kill someone if we will turn on the hot shower. They didn't fix it. Next day early in the morning you cannot enjoy the beach because it's so dirty. We ask the management that we will check out and they still want us to pay 50% for the room that we're not gonna use for the next day. I don't recommend this place it looks nice on facebook but in reality it's ugly and not worth it of your money.

My family of 25 people spent 4 days and 3 nights in this terrible place for a supposed to be holiday/reunion that turned out to be a complete nightmare. Most of the staff were rude and not helpful at all. Aside from the overpricing which is not worthy at all, they even charged us for every towel, bed linens, and also the driver of our transportation who just dropped us there. The services were so terrible that even everyday cleaning of the house that we’ve rented they can’t do so. They’ve only provided us with 7 towels because they said some were still wet or unavailable as being used by other guests. So we have to share the 7 towels for 25 people. We thought they will provide us the next day but they didn’t coz of the same reasons. The house we’ve rented is like a fixer-upper. They only have one room downstairs that is good for two, while upstairs have only two rooms good for two also and one double bed in the sala also upstairs. The kitchen is so small, the stove is also small although there were four burners but coz it’s so small only one cooking is possible at a time. The sala downstairs has one old sofa. The furnitures were also old, even the stairs itself were old and rusty. The terrace is too big that can fit one more room if they’ve only thought about it. My parents can’t manage to go upstairs anymore coz of their condition, so they were left in the only room downstairs. There’s a veranda upstairs overlooking the sea. The closet in the only room downstairs were smelly and the sink were always clogged. The toilet’s nor the sink don’t flush well, so we had to request for a manual flusher but they don’t have so we had to wait for them to buy it. It’s funny how one big resort don’t have a manual suction flusher. We got it the next day. Lol! The beach is full of rocks, broken corals and shells which makes it difficult to swim nor walk in the sand barefoot. Lots of biting insects in the sea, as well as sea urchins. So you really have to wear slippers. The showers were old and rusty. The hanging kitchen cabinets were all smelly. The air conditioning units don’t work well. They even have to charge our two helpers for their bed linens and take note it has to be paid in cash. Lol! We’re still in the resort, so why not charge it to the room? They didn’t collect the garbage inside the house we’ve rented until we’ve checked out. They also didn’t provide rugs and toiletries. Some staff were nice like the sweepers. I won’t ever recommend this terrible beach resort to any of my friends nor relatives. We won’t ever go back there again.

Terrible place. Checked in the morning before our arrival if food and drinks were avaiable and told yes. Also informed that if we bring food and drinks there would be be a corkage charge. So far so good. Arrived went to the restaurant to find the only staff sleeping at a table. After waking him up was informed there was no beer and no food as there was no cook. Also missing was the manager. No staff seemed interested. BTW there was no place to eat for 12km. Place is also run down with no maintenance. Also next to a noisy road and squatters playing load music. Beach covered in stones and corals at low tide.

First and foremost the place is just so lovely at day and so much better at night..
The lights and ambiance of this hacienda is LIT!

They don't accommodate walk-in guest so better reserve early if you want to experience Hacienda Don Juan. (By reserving meaning booking accommodation)

They offer unique accommodation.
(They have cocoon cottage as low as Php1500 good for 2).

They will soon to open restaurant this year so better check that out)

Lovely weekend unfortunately spoiled by rain. Multi-person accommodation available for large groups .though we were just a couple. camping is permitted onsite. several "Cocoons" one "beehive" 2 people without CR .One "lunar Lander" 2 people with built in CR and one a "PIPE" for 4 to 6 with CR . we chose the mid-size with CR. it was a little small but clean and comfy my one complaint there were no Shelves to put anything on nor hooks for clothes. a single nail in the bathroom was the only hanging space. our clothes had to reside on the bed or on the floor
I understand the property is still being developed so there may be improvements to come. we also had use of a thatched cottage for eating in .the simple Philippino menu was ok and reasonably priced.
I felt the accommodation was a little overpriced for what we got.
