Awatere Accommodation is a camp ground and motor park that also offers 12 private Chalets all with air con/heat pump, Veranda to relax on and there own individual charm. The shared facilities boast a fully equipped kitchen , showers , toilets and laundry. Relax in our cosy lounge with log burning fire, 60" TV. DVD rental is also available for those rainy days. On the grounds you can play mini golf and Croquet or rent one of our brand new mountain bikes to explore the local area. We also have an outdoor dining area & BBQ. A great place to socialise and meet people from all over the world

We stayed in one of the chalets. Very comfy bed and nice heater/airco if needed. The facilities were very clean. Big kitchen and nice hot showers. Great bikes if you want to explorer the area such as the river for a swim or Yealands eco vineyard for free wine tasting. I felt at home right away!

We spend two nights in Awatere accomodation and we had a really great time. Our room was modern and clean. There are lots of facilities and they are very clean. People there are so friendly.! The managers are really helpfull and funny. Vinyards near to are so beautiful. ! It's definitly a place to stop between Picton and Kaikoura . Thanks again to the managers !! :)

Warm welcome and excellent personal service, nice rooms (we stayed in the room on the ground floor and in the annex) . Foods was home cooked and very good (the same applies for the breakfast). The view from the dining room is fabulous!!! Good service in pick up from the airport

The best holiday park for backpackers in NZ! If you are looking for a job nearby and you wanna stick around for a while I definetely recommend this place. Awsome people, helpful managers, fully equipped spacious kitchen, peaceful tidy garden, clean and homely facilities, TV room, BBQ and movie nights. And the price is totally worth it, you wont find better.
