I stayed at the La Laguna hotel for three nights. From the moment of checking in to using the bar and restaurant facilities, I found all the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. From the outside and walking into the reception, the hotel looked quite appealing and was in a good location close to a few restaurants if you did not want to use the hotel restaurant. I was given my room cards and was given a room on the ground floor. On my walk to the room, I passed a very impressive looking pool with a waterfall and it was set in a beautiful garden with established palm trees. There was an outside dining area that was shaded next to the pool and as I walked further to my room I passed the spa, which I did not use. On entering the room there was a good size bathroom with a hairdryer and plenty of room around the sink to put your toiletries. The shower was also a good size and the water stayed hot and constant. There were two narrow single beds pushed together, which I didn't like as I would have preferred a proper double bed. There was a kettle and two mugs with one sugar and I think a tea sachet in it along with a useless plastic stirrer. If they are going to put a kettle in the room then they should have been a better choice and a proper tea spoon. I was able to charge my phone and tablet with two USB ports over the desk. Patio doors with a security grill led to a private terrace which was nice. There is A/C stroke heater in the room. The room overall was good but looked quite dated, personally speaking the rooms should look a little more modern. The bar was nice and had entertainment in the evening and there was a nice outside seating area. Again the staff were very friendly. Overall it was a nice hotel and was definitely value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

hotel was really good nice rooms helpful staff. a fun element was to have a bath with plastic ducks and you get to keep them if you do a review. Food was really good no trouble with anything that you ordered (well done steak) perfect. The spa facilities are really good but had trouble with our booking we had to wait for our appointment over half an hour and then it was lunch time and the restaurant is above the treatment room so all we heard was people walking up and down and chairs scraping not relaxing at all and the massage wasn’t good ether Would recommend the hotel but if you go to the spa do not book a massage.

Our stay was a gift from my Wifes Aunt for one night. We arrived early before check in time but were checked in early by a friendly lady on reception. Our room was very nice with views over the pool and towards the lagoon. ( Room 224) We had a light lunch in the bar served by a very friendly waiter called Yao, followed by swimming in the pool. We then went to the spa before our evening meal which was superb served by Yaos brother who was equally as attentive and friendly as his brother. Bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was superb. My Wife was able to get a very hot bath along with a rubber duck !. We were unfortunately not able to get a meal in the restaurant as due to covid the hotel is running on a reduced number of staff but their prices reflect this so an absolute bargain. All in all a beautiful hotel with great staff. Would definitely go again.

Hotel was always making excuses to do with Covid19 situation although it is a scary time they have taken alot of services out due to this. For Instance you have to pre-brook for a spa treatment although I did it was expensive and only 1 member of staff on duty hence on the website it should more than 5 hence I cancelled my treatment. The lunch menu and Dinner Menua although al a carte was in the bar area but the same menu nothing changed and the food was not that good at Breakfast. The room stated on the website tea and coffe facilities hence they said no milk or spoon or coffee just a cup a tea bag each and a kettle big deal what could you do with that so you had to go to the bar to ask or suffer or buy something at a shop. There was No channel 4 on the TV only 3 English Channels. The bedding was 1 thin sheet hardly suitable for autumn weather! Drinks in the bar very pricey. No evidence of the tables being cleaned after each service unacceptable. Also the self service machine which had water in and essentials was off due to people touching buttons however you could get a bottle of water from the bar you could do but they had touched it first so I couldn't see the point of the machine being switched off. Hotel reception staff was quite rude in some cases. We won't be back until things improve and the Covid19 gets better!

We did not make any excuses due to Covid19 situation, many services had to be closed and were under restrictions according to the Spanish government. We were in a difficult situation with many restrictions and not all of our staff was working, so this is the reason why you had to pre-book spa treatments for example. Regarding the TV channels, we have a few channels in each language as it's impossible to have all the channels that our international customers from all over the world are used to watch. All our rooms count with extra blankets in the wardrobe, even so housekeeping service is available 24 hours to request any extra pillows or blankets. All out departments have developed a cleaning and disinfection protocol with specialized products, so we are surprised by your comment regarding the table cleaning in the Cafeteria. We stayed here for one night. It's a 4 star hotel so you would expect the little luxuries you usually get with this standard. One thing was that there was no pool service for drinks so you had to go into the bar and order. This was the same if you were ordering a drink on the patio outside. This goes against everything that Spain are trying to do in keeping people safe from covid. Standing round a bar waiting for a drink is not covid safe and it certainly isn't what you would expect to do in Spain, or any 4 star hotel in fact. The second thing was the soap dispenser in the shower - in 4 star hotels you expect decent individual toiletries - not the cheap stuff you get in budget hotels. The good thing is that the room was clean. We paid for the spa circuit and had to work out what it was all about for ourselves as nobody offered to explain anything to us.

Overpriced, overrated, tired rooms in need of refurbishment, breakfast rationed dry bread and croissant with a meagre amount of thin cheese and ham, coffee or tea €19.90, the only pleasant experience was the young waiter in the dining room, however the customer service stopped there, reception staff were ignorant and uninterested. Great outside pool, spa closed, apparently the sauna was available, didn’t say anything about this when booking the hotel. We won’t be back, perhaps they should have stayed closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Booked the hotel for 3 nights over Christmas and cannot fault our stay. We had a junior suite with swimming pool view, which was spotlessly clean and spacious and the huge bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a good selection of toiletries and there was abundant hot water for the bath. We had booked half board and were very impressed with the quality and variety of the dinners and in our opinion there was a good selection for breakfast. All of the staff were very friendly and efficient and we would particularly like to thank Ana in reception for her help with the small problem we had with our original booking. We would certainly recommend the hotel and definitely return should we be in the area.

This was our 1st time at La Laguna and will not be the last, it was perfect. We had a Junior Suite at the pool side of the hotel, we found it shaded until about mid-afternoon, so the room stays quite cool. If needed the air conditioning is there in the bedroom as well as the lounge area. The hotel is lovely, it’s spotlessly clean and well kept and all the staff are amazing - friendly and helpful and always happy and smiling! I must mention Cara, brothers Yaomand Chung from the bar/restaurant and Samanta from reception. The staff in the spa which we unfortunately forgot their names were friendly, caring and professional.
The spa area is first class and well worth a visit.
The pool area is spacious and relaxing and the bar area is lovely, with plenty of comfortable seating, so there’s always somewhere to sit. There’s outside seating in the garden too.
We were on half board and there was plenty of choice of great tasty meals and you got a glass of wine and tea/coffee included.
It’s a couple of miles from the coast and as the name suggests it’s handie for the golf in the area if you are that way inclined.
Overall a splendid hotel and thoroughly recommended.

We have been at the hotel for 8 weeks while working in the area and buying a house. We have asked to see the manager several times and been refused he does not want to speak to us. This is in ref to our room rate which is higher than advertised also several points about health hygiene and safety especially in the present climate. Was told we don't have to stay here if we don't like it. ! I ran hotels and golf clubs in the UK if one of my staff spoke to a client that way they would have been sent for retraining. We are now looking for another hotel in the area as this one is unacceptable. I cannot believe the manager refused to see a guest it is appalling behaviour. I really could not fault anything about this hotel, it is in a very quiet residential area with only a handful of restaurants, and a small newsagents however it’s great for exploring surrounding areas and the village of Quasada is only 10 euros in taxi where there are more lively bars and plenty more eating places. You will need a car to get to all the wonderful surrounding beaches which are all easy to get to by car. The hotel is very clean and I found all the staff very friendly and efficient, special mention to the pool bar man who works so hard. The pool area is just perfect always sunbeds any time of day and it’s so nice and relaxing, pool towels available for 10 euro deposit. I found all the food served was great really big portions and reasonably priced, only had breakfast once and that was good too. I do not think this hotel is suitable for children but great for a chilled out holiday for adults. Thank you for an amazing holiday I will definitely return
