We stayed for a weekend and the experience has been pleasantly surprising, the treatment of the staff, the room, its cleanliness, the breakfast and the restaurant. They have helped us have an excellent weekend.
It is highly recommended for those travelers who want to get to know this city and who want to have personalized treatment, plus everything is very close to the establishment

Simple but clean hotel, with a very spacious room and a lot of tranquility. It is located on the outskirts of Balaguer, but with magnificent views. Ample free parking. The good attention received is appreciated. Good value for money.

The hotel is located on the hill beside a park and church. The views over town from that side of the building are nice.
My room was very clean and modern the guy who checked me in spoke perfect English. I thought I was the only one staying in the hotel as it was deserted. Unfortunately later that evening someone checked into the room next to me. I say unfortunately as normally this would not be an issue but the adjoining wall was not very sound proof and I could hear them talking.

Travelling from London, via France to Portugal again, my friend and I decided to change the usual route we usually took. So we planned a route through as much mountainous regions as we could. Hence our booking into the Hotel Santuari. We had been given a lovely room with a beautiful view. It was spacious, as was the bathroom, clean and very pleasant. It was quiet and as it was far from any sort of traffic, we could sleep with the windows open. The corridors were large and one could look on to some sort of a courtyard, so they were lit by natural light.
Considering the size of the hotel, though, the reception was quiet small and on a couple of occasions we had to wait a while, as the reception was away from the desk. Breakfast was fine but not imposing. We had an evening meal on the beautiful balcony which faced the beautiful view over the river and town. The meal was quite good and reasonably priced.
There is a generous car park and although it not secure, one felt the car was save.
There is a lovely walled walk to the old church which is adjacent to the hotel (the hotel is a converted monastery). I did sleep well and felt it was a wonderful place to take a break en route to our next destination: Posada de San Jose in Quenca.

Only stayed there one night on our way to Andorra , booked on chance with Booking .com , the hotel was very clean and comfy , we had breakfast there and this was very nice it was a continental breakfast but plenty of things to choose from, the staff was pleasant and helpful even got us a coffee and a beer when the bar was closed , there was only one bath towel in the room when we arrived but within 5 minutes of calling the desk they delivered more towels.
There is plenty of parking and it is not far from the town , the only thing to look out for is the sign to the hotel as it is at the other side of the roundabout on the road to Tremp.
The only down side to the hotel is the restaurant does not open until late for evening meal.

Very good super clean personal hotel in a marvellous village.
Very comfy beds and spotless bathroom. Breakfast pretty good although nothing hot, except a fab cup of coffee. Short but steep walk to the old part of town, definitely worth the effort

It was a bit difficult to find this hotel depite the directions and maps I had printed from the internet. The hotel is located on a hill at the town's edge, adjacent to one of the dominating churches. So it must be part of the church complex not just by its name. And its entrance is somewhat hidden from the street. So a sign or two would not hurt. However, once found, this is a good place to stay. It has a somewhat austere touch, probably coming from the connection with the church. However, the rooms are fine with a great view over the town below. Dinner was served late, as usual in Spain; though they were flexible to start serving a bit earlier than usual. Food was very good at this hotel restaurant.

All perfect. The room was large, the sink was good, the staff was very friendly, breakfast was adequate. From the room good views of the city, if we return we will repeat, both for quality and price.
