"Cruz Verde" is nice and not expensive hotel. Me and my friend visited the hotel during our trip to Madrid. First we were not very pleased as the hotel was situated not in Madrid but in Navalcarnero - 20 min by bus from Madrid (our own mistake!). On the other hand we got an opportunity to explore one more spanish town.
The hotel is quite nice and clean. The owner was welcoming and smiling; he gave as the map and explained the route to Madrid. The room was clean, quite comfortable and not expensive.

So. . the man working there was really nice and a great help, the village is so sweet and you can take a walk or drink coffee in one of the cute cafes. :) But. . the room was big, cold and very dark. It was dirty and not well equipped. I couldnt even find a socket for my charger. There was no wi-fi in the rooms, yet on the reception you could use it for free.

Went there on business.
The room was awful. strong dope odor and the bathroom had pee on the floor.
I had to leave late at night. I couldn't stay the night there.
Staff were kind of rude. I believe they are used to see people leaving.
Avoid this place.
