This hotel is right on top of the sea front and the train Italia train station. The hotel includes breakfast which is served from 7am till 10am on the top floor overlooking the sea. It is a two minute walk to the harbour where there are some great restaurants and takeaways... Also an hours walk to Ercolano to the Hercalium . In the town centre there are numerous restaurants and bars and the other train line which will take you to Sorrento.
Nice area although as with all of Naples area a little run down and need of some street cleaners.staff at the hotel are very friendly and make your stay.this is not a holiday hotel but is a great place to stay when visiting the area as 2 stations 5 mins away so trips out to Naples and the area are easy and a good tip,get a unico 3 day travel ticket for the area as includes all travel for the whole area and 2 entries to great landmarks and 50 per cent discount at the rest .the hotel, the rooms and all it’s facilities are all very clean with the rooms being made up every day and towels changed.breakfast is continental but there is scrambled and boiled eggs and bacon to be had.there are some lovely restaurants and coffee shops in the area which we used and a walk along to harbour is a must with great views.i would definitely return to this hotel in an instant if I am travelling in this area again.thanks for a great stay from my daughter and myself .…
This is not a nice hotel. The wifi was very poor in the room. Hotel was noisy no room with a view. No information in the room regarding local area, bathroom had a strange smell. Breakfast was very poor not what Iexpect from a 4 star hotel. The area is really run down needs alot of investment not geared up for tourists. This is my first time here and the last.
We arrived to what we expected to be a 4* hotel and it was anything but! We went to our first room and as we walked into the room the fridge seal was leaking and there was a massive puddle on the floor, there was hair all over the bathroom and the pillows were stained, there was no safe in the room as advertised. I CANT STRESS ENOUGH DONT BOTHER WITH THE BREAKFAST unless you fancy a good clear out. If you go out the hotel and go right get up to the main road and there is a small cafe which makes all the food fresh and the coffee is amazing! All for around 6 euros for 2 coffees and 2 pastries. The breakfast at the hotel was a joke. We eventually asked to be moved on our second day which the room was a bit better, there are random stains all over the hotel on all walls and furniture. (See my photos) we didn’t stay much in the hotel and went out each day to avoid staying there. There is no way this hotel is a 4* it’s a 2* at best. The only thing that’s good is it’s close to the train stations which means you can get out of there! There is a bar at the hotel ran by the janitor .... go out of the hotel go left get down to the T junction and go right get down to the play park and follow that along and there is an amazing beach shack with cheap drinks and amazing views! Do not waste your money staying here. It’s hot noisy and not worth the money, the photos on the website are very misleading I mean that amazing photo they have of the view of the sea we were swayed by that aswell- yeah that’s only on the top floor in the ‘restaurant’ area. See my photos. …
Myself and my partner travelled at the beginning of August. The hotel was a great base for sightseeing with excellent public transport links to popular tourist destinations such as Sorrento, Naples and Pompeii. The local area is a typical Italian town, clearly not aimed at tourists. The locals can seem unfriendly however I would disagree with other reviews saying they felt unsafe. We arrived late in the evening and the hotel staff were very accommodating and checked us in at 11pm. Top tip- taxis from the airport to the hotel are double fare which is often not explained by the driver before getting in! The room was spacious, the air conditioning throughout the hotel was amazing and the hotel came with all amenities- such as a safe, walk in wardrobe and fridge. We paid for half board which I would definitely recommend, the breakfast was an excellent buffet and dinner was always superb. The blonde waitress displayed especially fabulous service, catering to our every need. My only gripe was that the staff were seemingly underprepared for vegetarian guests as I had a Capri salad for main four nights on the trot, however the blonde waitress did arrange for a more filling and exciting alternative on the last night. Also, we were offered water at the start of every meal each night but weren't advised that this came at a cost so had a nasty shock when we had a thirty euro bill at the end of our stay. Generally, all hotel staff were cheery and happy to help. The handbook in the bedroom showed that you could request items such as shaving kits and extra toiletries from Reception which I used on multiple occasions which was brought up to our room within five minutes by staff. Hotel staff have very good English and were more than happy to direct us to our chosen destination for the day or give us advice on where to visit. Overall, the half board package was well worth the money and I would visit here again in the future.…
