My stay was limited but would use again for business and a long weekend break.
Positives - room is spacious for the four of us, nice swimming pool and decent food.
Some negatives - the church bell a block away apparently rings at half an hour intervals throughout ...... including this hour of the morning (2.30am!)
- the hairdryer in my room does not work (in fact there was a burning smell and smoke coming out once we turned it on). Checked with reception if I could borrow one but nothing available.
- from my room even without windows shut we could still listen people talking downstairs and cars moving and parking on the sand grovel surface
Again, it has probably been our unlucky day but thought we should not be the first group to experience such issues and there should be ways to cope with them successfully.
If you stay in the guesthouse during wintertime I could imagine that you don't feel like walking the 200/300 metres to go swimming, especially when it is dark or early in the morning. We originnaly had a room in the guesthouse, but the previous guests had smoked so much (even though that is expressly prohibited) that we asked for a different room. This was immediately arranged. Not sure I would stay here for a holiday - maybe only if you plan on visiting Legoland which is nearby?
They waited for us! The nice girl met us at the hotel and accompanied us to the nice apartment.
The apartments are located at a two minutes walk from the main hotel building. Our apartment was very comfy for six people. It was a short lovely walk for breakfast - our girls met some cows and cuffs on the way and loved it.
Breakfast is awesome. The best we had at Germany. The hotel building is lovely.
A ten minutes drive to Legoland.
The sorroundings are surprisingly beautiful - German countryside at its best. We even spotted balloons flying above the region...
