Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed at this property on the occasion of the Cammino del Gran Sasso, it is a beautiful B&B with great attention to every detail. Delicious breakfast, the kindness and helpfulness of the owner is a further added value.
Highly recommended!!

Delightful B&B in Santo Stefano with lovely host, Mirela. We visited for 4 days in mid-May, which seems to be off season and very quite (3 nights we were the only guests). Mirela was very helpful finding us restaurant reservations, since we didn't speak Italian, and it was difficult to figure out which restaurants were open on any given night. Room was very comfortable with a small but very functional bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful and varied with sweets, yogurt, cheeses, salami, etc. We were also offered eggs, and excellent coffee (Moka pot, and foamed milk).

When discovering Abruzzo, the choice fell on the village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio and first and foremost on the B&B La Bifora e le Lune di Mirella.
Fantastic location because it is located inside the ancient village
Cozy room, super breakfast room and truly superior and plentiful breakfast with Mirella who pampers you at 360 degrees and involves you culturally in the area you are in
I didn't give 5 stars for only one reason: one evening we found the water in the bathroom lukewarm, when we were alerted to the problem she promised herself that she would immediately have the plumber check the system.
It will be a reason to return
However, a positive experience which I recommend
Ps: We stayed with our. Malamutes at no cost. Mirella accepts four-legged friends with kindness

Beautiful B&B in the heart of Santo Stefano! You really feel part of the inhabitants who populate this small but beautiful village! Convenient parking to reach the B & B in two minutes walk. The owner always smiling and nice welcomed us even in her home where she serves a rich breakfast that ranges from savory to sweet with excellent local products. The room has kept the classic but refined decor! The bathroom a gem with access portal in antique solid wood .. a beautiful discovery that Recommendation to those who want to totally immerse themselves in silence and live the experience of resting in the total silence of this enchanted village

What a wonderful B&B! It is lovely, comfortable, very clean and quiet, in the beautiful town of Santo Stefano. The owner is gracious and welcoming and communicates effectively even though she doesn't speak English and we don't speak Italian. The breakfasts are very delicious and filling. There are so many hiking trails and walking paths nearby. There are beautiful views of the mountains. So glad that we stayed there. We left with great memories of our vacation there.

An authentic experience, in a xv century building with all comforts and high quality finishings.
Rooms have independent access from the palazzo's courtyard. All is quiet at night, granting an excellent night sleep in a very comfortable bed. In the morning, breakfast awaits in what was probably the main room of the palazzo, with astounding views on the valley. Mirella's breakfast was delicious and contributed to the overall homely feeling of our stay. All food was home made, and th selection of fruit, cured meet, vegetable and cheeses local. Enchanting.

La Bifora e la Lune is a treasure in the small town of Santo Stefano di Sessanio. Mirela and Marco were the perfect hosts, caring, thorough, and patient enough to speak Italian with me. When I wasn't feeling well, Mirela invited me in for tea and cookies. Knowing the next bed and breakfast we were staying at was hard to find, she arranged for us to call our next host when we were in the town square so he could guide us. Marco invited us in for wine and antipasti and more talk in Italian. We felt truly comfortable and welcome.

The room itself was modern and comfortable. The intimacy and care was such a nice change from hotels; plus we got to know some other guests which rarely happens at hotels. We loved the room, the hosts, the location, and the breakfast. If we go back to Abruzzo, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.
