Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The rustic style studio apartment was really nice, carefully furnished. The property has made available homemade cakes, yogurt and jams of their own production to be able to have breakfast as well as milk, coffee and tea. Our studio apartment had a mezzanine bed, where we slept very well. The property was close to a restaurant. The only flaw was the wifi which didn't work very well, but only because the walls are thick.

Comfortable, clean and nice warm apartment, kitchen with everything you need. The breakfast is excellent, sweet yoghurts and jams made by the owners are available every day in the apartment, then you can prepare yourself tea or coffee, milk and fruit juices are available.
Just outside the village (5 minutes on foot), with parking and garden available in the summer months. The owner was kind and welcomed us with a homemade limoncello!
Excellent choice for visiting the surroundings.

we booked a studio apartment but was given a 2 bedroom apartment instead. very clean and definitely recommed for families with children or young couple. this is our second time visting santo stefano but our first time staying at the La casa su le dimore del borgo. no reason to fault this place. but if you are looking for some luxury than look elsewhere. my husband and i enjoy our stay very much but would consider this as a second choice for 1 main reason. do not enjoy having to prepare my own breakfast in the morning. even though everything is made available like coffee, tea break, jams and butter, i still prefer to have my breakfast served. so if this some detail does not bother you, it is absolutely a great place to stay. thumbs up for cleaniness.
besides this, Santo Stefano is just beautiful. Mountains all around, simply breathtaking.

Highly recommend this b&b, you get the feeling that everything has been prepared with great care, including the homemade yoghurt and cakes we had for breakfast. The surroundings are great for some relaxing walks, would like to go back for a weekend whenever I feel I need to get away from it all...

we were three guys and spent three days from July 13 in Sessanio in B&B. The location is ideal for exploring the wonderful park's nature hiking or mountain biking. We had a large apartment with all space we needed; the breakfast including local eggs and yogurt was delivered the evening before and we had just to prepare it. The staff and the owner are very kind and helpful (they sent me something I forgot in the room without any delay). Worth to mention the excellent restaurant just beside the residence. Something I did not like: the mattress of my bed was not very comfortable

We had such a nice stay that it was a shame to leave it after one night. Located just outside the historic centre of Santo Stefano, it offers peaceful surroundings. The owner Carmen made the place our home during our stay. Locally produced eggs and yogurt were such a nice touch. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We are planning on going back this summer.

We spent four nights in this B&B with my girlfriend. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment there for 80EUR/night and we ended up renting a 2-level fully equipped house (Punto di Vista), which is up the hill next to western exit from Santo Stefano. This was a real bargain! The place was clean and very quiet. The venue is best for exploring Santo Stefano and outdoor activities (Campo Imperatore is 30 min drive).

La Case su le Dimora has about 7 small apartments (in the village of Santo Stefano in the Grand Sasso national park), which are inexpensive, clean and comfortable-but rather dark, built into the side of a mountain. The breakfast is left for you the previous night (either in fridge or out on the table) --and is also basic. Warm welcome and attention from Karerina. The real joy of this place is the village itself which in incredible. Established by the Medici family(500 yrs ago?), it is a well preserved maze of small streets, subterranian passages, ancient buildings and great vistas. The piazza dei torre is the smallest square I have ever seen (about 5 x 5 metres with 6 tiny alleys leading into it! No tourist shops but well served by several small traditional restaurants. This is an extrordinary "must do" visit if you are travelling in central Italy.

This was a delight from start to finish. I have never slept in a room that was pitch black with a complete absence of noise before, We could feel stresses and strains just melt away. Our delightful hostess had provided everything we needed in our appartment. It is only a few minutes walk to the little village, so we ate there one night and cooked a meal at home the other night. It was chilly in the evening, so she kindly put on the underfloor heating for us, we were there early September. Breakfast was a delicious selection of yoghurts, plate of cold cuts, bread, cakes, crackers, etc. We had two bedrooms, one on a balcony upstairs and one at ground floor level. The key to the appartment was immense and fitted into a 200 year old door. What a joy! True rustic charm, wish we could have stayed longer, would definitely go back to this lovely place and beautiful area.
