The Grand Hotel d'Uriage is an historical building in the middle of a beautiful park with the charm and taste of the XIX century French "Art de vivre". the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The Spa is large with two thermal swimming pool, steam bath and sauna. The gastronomic restaurant is excellent with a very raffinated cuisine elaborated by the chef Carmen. The service is of outstanding quality.
One of the best address in France not to be missed

Air conditioning in the restaurant should be better regulated and include storage cabinets in the standing rooms overlooking the park. The water in the outdoor and indoor basin could be heated on overcast days. Make sure you have large bathrobes.

We spent a weekend with dinner and breakfast at the grand hotel. The setting is sublime and the staff professional. The room under the roof is cute, clean and functional, a small downside for the bathtub which would benefit from being replaced by a shower. The Spa is very pleasant with swimming pool, hammam, sauna and relaxation area. Great meal in the evening, good, creative and with impeccable service. On the other hand, the breakfast is not up to the price displayed. For a Sunday morning we came down at 9:30 a.m. and several dishes were already missing which were not restocked. The cold meats and cheese were good as well as the pastries, but at 23 euros for breakfast we would have expected more variety (for example there were a little bit of almost cold scrambled eggs left and more fruit salad). Only one waitress for the whole room who was running around and therefore had difficulty responding to requests. ... In short, an excellent weekend but next time we will have breakfast elsewhere.

4* hotel by its prices but not at all by the
Quality of service provided and yet at 283 euros per night we expect a cupboard that slides normally and renovated common areas because the dirty carpet is not the best effect and the thermal area is also good but the cleanliness could be better
Restaurant and bar as well as the
Good service on the other hand at breakfast which costs 23 euros when a customer kindly asks to have a fresh fried egg (those in the dish. Warm seemed dated) and the waitress, once her back turned, looked up to the sky
We say to ourselves that there is a real lack of professionalism here!!!!

Duo massage with a poor welcome which does not put you in a good position to receive a massage. I wanted to take a shower before the massage and the masseuse didn't dare refuse me but made me understand that she didn't like it. Moreover, not a word, not a smile. Music too loud and it was a bit cold

Old hotel, old rooms, very poor maintenance and if you don’t speak French the service is non-existent / rude at best.

The pool area and garden is missing a lot of love. Broken sun loungers, no towels near the pool, dirty indoor pool.

The restaurant has nice food but horrible service. Took 20 minutes from sitting down until someone finally came to take the drinks order.

Bar terrace extremely dirty, run down tables and not cared for, even saw a rat casually walking across the terrace not scared of humans.

Except for the food in the restaurant and the airconditioning in the room there is really nothing good I can say about this hotel. So I do not recommend staying here.

There is a breakfast offer for people who take treatment at the center. So this morning I had breakfast with a friend at 7:30 a.m. Very average reception reception, the person who takes care of breakfast makes us wait saying I'm going to see what I have (meaning what I have left from the day before). So we sit at the bar, 1 mini grapefruit juice (although fresh) a mini chocolate bread and stale croissant from the day before or even 2 days, a coffee with a little milk (large cream requested) Certainly 7€ per person, we would have preferred a pastry but fresh.
This is truly deplorable!!!!!

Hotel located in Uriage (~20 min) from Grenoble, very quiet and warm.
The staff is attentive and attentive from reception to the spa.
Excellent and quality evening meal, dynamic and attentive servers.
And the breakfast buffet is very complete.

I highly recommend this hotel for a moment of complete calm and quality.

Everything was perfect except breakfast.
For a 4 star hotel the sweet breakfast was more like a 4 a.m. one.
Only cookies. An extra dry brioche. Mini extra dry pastries. Not much diversity in the breads
Cafeteria style coffee machine.
Jam jar where only the bottom and edges were all sticky, it seemed to have been open for some time.
For the disappointing price.
I made a commercial gesture but that was not the goal.
But thank you all the same

The Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room we had was not particularly big but comfortable. Shower not great as there was no splash screen or curtain, so difficult to shower without getting the bathroom wet. A few tips: think of investing into a Hotel mini bus to transport customers as taxis are far and between in this part of Grenoble and too expensive. As a Hotel you can charge visitors. Link the Thermal Spa company's website to the Hotel's so it is easier to book any treatments and see all what the Spa offers. When visiting the Hotel website you get the impression that the Spa is part of it but in fact is it a separate business. It would be to the advantage of both Hotel and Spa to expand the on line exposure. We tried to book a treatment but you need to do this weeks in advance generally, this is not clear when booking the hotel. There was nothing available during our 3 day stay.
