Schwarz Alpenresort is one of the best hotels we have ever seen. Even if we had been here before, we always try to spend at least a couple of days during the summer holidays. So we were back again and again, they have added another building, this time with a top class gym with at least 50 different stations. Also new is a spacious bike rental area with classic as well as electric bikes for all tastes and terrains. We had an absolute topclass room in the new main building with half board which is almost full board at Schwarz. And the breakfast and dinner - you guessed right - are absolutely fabulours too. The included dinner is mostly at least 4 courses. Not to forget the several pools (some are actually little lakes), spa areas, treatment areas, sauna areas etc. are also top class and the numerous families told us, that also their children like it a lot. Last but surely not least there are one 18 holes and a 9 holes pitch/put golfcourse. Both beautifully designed and in surrounded by breathtaking mountains - sorry for repeating myself - again topclass.

We really enjoyed our short two night stay at Hotel Schwarz. The wellness facilities are amazing and very relaxing. Our room in Obstgartl I was beautifully furnished and very quiet. Excellent restaurant. We booked on breakfast only basis and were hoping to eat at the a la carte restaurant "Green Vieh" however this was closed Jan to Feb. Instead we were able to eat for EUR 49 per person in the main hotel restaurant for full board guests. We were very happy with the choice and quality of food. Some nice walks in the area going directly from hotel. Lovely quiet area on a sunny plateau. We will definitely return again sometime!

Staying at The Alpresort Schwarz means a unique experience. Peaceful and idyllic location on the Mieming Plateau. Modern and spacious rooms with extra comfortable beds. Great views on a terrific landscape. Although it is a lively hotel with a huge amount of guests you never get the feeling of being constraint in too small restaurants or having to queue for anything. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. The food is great. Wellness facilities are very clean and inviting. The daily activity-programme is diversified. There is something for everybody. I especially loved the daily yoga and Qigong lessons! Altogether something you really want to do again the sooner the better.

We spent 2 very nice weeks at the Alpenresort Schwarz. The reception was friendly and the car was parked and the luggage was brought to the room. The first week we stayed in the main building in a double room for single use. The room was modern, clean and had everything you need. However, it would be relatively small for 2 people (especially for opening the suitcase). The colleague's room was a lot bigger. But you don't spend that much time in the room. In the second week we had a room in Obstgarten 3 and it was huge and offered enough space. The resort is very big and has several pools, a beautiful sauna area, a kids' club, pools for the little ones, a great gym, a very well-run bar and an excellent restaurant. The range of activities is also good. However, I have to say that I have been to other hotels where you didn't have to pay for all the extras (e.g. bikes, guided hikes). But there was a champagne reception every week and other events for the guests (here the magician - Ben Hyven - was great). We were also able to rent climbing equipment. The staff is very friendly and generally attentive. At dinner, they could have cleared up a little better or set the table a little better. But the hotel was also fully booked. The food was very good and the buffet was plentiful. There was plenty of variety in the dishes. The starter buffet in particular was excellent. For example, the pretzel sticks and nuts for the aperitif could be varied a little. The sauna area is beautifully designed and offers something for everyone. The infusions are always well attended but otherwise there is always plenty of space. The mountain sauna has a beautiful view. We have been spending our autumn holiday at the Alpenresort Schwarz for several years. Arrive and feel good here. The whole house is furnished and decorated with particular attention to detail. The newly built modern areas blend wonderfully harmoniously with the traditionally Alpine-style older parts of the house.
The sauna area a wonderful oasis of peace. Unfortunately, there are always some guests here who do not turn their mobile phone on silent and make loud calls in the “rest room” and receive WhatsApp without interruption.Even when pointing out the rest area I only got one comment which I do not want to mention here — Too bad that these people can not even switch off from the mobile phone for a short time on holiday...... Our phones stay in the room at all times.
The half board indulges its name. Here you will find such a wide variety of everything your heart desires in the morning. Dinner is always a culinary experience.
All staff in the house are extremely friendly and accommodating.
In the wellness area I was allowed to enjoy an aroma oil massage which was extremely beneficial.
Our room is also a place to feel good. The beds wonderful, the pillows to dream about.
Personally, unfortunately, I don't like rosemary fragrance, which is contained in the shower gel or body lotion. Too bad that there was no alternative here even in the wellness area on demand not. But that's not really tragic.

The best hotel in a long time! The host family Pirktl and their team are extremely helpful, very familiar - you immediately feel at home and can relax extremely well. The location is also excellent. On 09.06.2024 I was back at the Alpenresort Schwarz for my annual break week. Here I can recover so well that in one week I can draw so much strength that it will last for a long time. From arrival to departure all wishes are fulfilled. The whole hotel and the outdoor facilities are very nice. For me, the swimming pools and the bathing pond are very important. I feel very comfortable here. All the staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. There is also a cheerful mood among themselves. The hotel offers a daily sports programme with something for every age group. Qualified ladies and gentlemen work in the wellness area, who can respond to every need of the individual guest. The cuisine is unbeatable. The offer ranges from a generous breakfast buffet to an evening dinner. Another wonderful, relaxing week on the beautiful sunny plateau in Mieming. For the guests' well-being, the reception is being extended and a bike rental is being added. The construction noise was not a problem, but it is a bit of a shame that more and more of the original, cozy house is disappearing to make way for today's modern chalet style. The newly renovated sauna is no longer cozy wood with spaciousness, but rather cramped and black. The "old/new" part of the sauna is still traditionally bright and with lots of wood.
