From the windows of my hotel room, I can see the courtyard of the old castle. The room is decorated with old furniture, and I guess that each room is unique with various furniture. It gives me a feeling of visiting or staying in a guest room of an Italian family. A very different experience from staying at one of the big hotel chains which look exactly the same no matter where in the world you are.
All of the staff are very friendly and supportive. To have breakfast in the room was no problem. I also got some excellent guidance on everything from counting in Italian, borrowing paper and pencil, safety around the football stadium, and so on.
The place is located on a beautiful walking street with many good restaurants.
All in all, I was pleased to stay here and recommend the place :)

The location, within the village of Venaria and a stone's throw from the beautiful Royal Palace, is structured in a courtyard context which houses both the rooms and the apartments. In our case we were assigned a studio apartment located on the first floor which we found welcoming, clean, generously sized and furnished with mostly Provençal references. The presence of the kitchenette which allowed the use of the moka and the kettle was much appreciated. The bathroom is also large and nice; refillable dispensers are good for reducing the impact of plastic. Excellent microclimate and sleep quality and the view of the Royal Palace is a gem. TV with digital terrestrial reception and wi-fi which was not working during our stay (not a bad thing). Paid parking inside the courtyard with a few parking spaces available; for this reason, it is best to request it when booking. Access to the ZTL area is regulated directly by the structure with the municipality.
Then there are some measures that in our opinion could improve the customer experience. First of all, breakfast in terms of both offer and presentation, since we did not find references to the territory but various widely consumed products. Secondly, the welcome which, although polite, in our case was very hasty and took place directly in the apartment.
Finally, it might be an idea to provide a small courtesy set even with just slippers and insert the dispenser with liquid intimate soap.

Ancient structure. The location is strategic, very close to the palace, quiet place and room really quiet and comfortable, clean and with a very elegant style. (equipped with kettle, however, there are no cups for tea. You can request parking inside the courtyard (for a fee, cost a little high). The kittens around the building are very cute :) You should see some of the staff again who spoil the atmosphere as well as making the guest feel unwelcome. It is not very easy to interface with the staff, who share the management of the residence and the restaurant. During Reservation, on the phone, Mrs. Maria was friendly , and on arrival greeted us Marco who was very kind (attention , better always ask for check in times because not being a hotel, the presence of the staff is not guaranteed throughout the day). We were a little disappointed by the welcome at the restaurant ("pass me the salt") which is part of the same management, because after pointing out that we were staying at the lying pear, we had to wait outside before they prepared the table, the staff was very cold and almost annoyed (we felt uncomfortable); fortunately among them there was a waiter who instead turned out to be very attentive and nice (we do not know his name but told us to be there only for the evening service ... unfortunately...) and the quality of the dishes was excellent. At breakfast, we expected a different service, the girl almost did not consider us, nothing was replaced on the buffet and even in this case it seemed to disturb (in the meantime, external customers came in for the coffee service and were better looked after than us) , we were not asked if we wanted to drink a coffee or tea, we had to get up and ask at the counter, but the girl, almost slipped away not to pay attention. We have never had much pretension and we are not demanding customers, we are also in the industry and have always dealt with tourism and honestly did not make a good impression on us overall. If we consider the prices, they are really high for the quality of service. On booking a room for 3 adults appeared available, but the lady told us that for the third adult a supplement was needed, ( we are not sure, but it seemed to us that it was indicated at the time only to charge us more .. at least, this was the impression. There is no special treatment for those who book directly instead of from portal, and also it would be nice to offer a better service for those who dine at their restaurant and are guests in their residence! shame, because it would be enough more attention to some details, which seem trivial but make the difference ;)

Stayed here for one night. About 50 metres from the Veneria Reale. Beautifully furnished room with a private bathroom and small kitchen. Breakfast served in the adjoining restaurant: a buffet (not very interesting) or a continental style breakfast.

The owner Maria spoke enough English to made us feel very welcome. Her son Edward spoke very good English which made a big difference to our overall experience. We dined in the family owned restaurant choosing local seasonal cuisine recommended by Edward which was delicious. At 90 Euro for the studio room including a light no fuss breakfast in your own room this was an experience well worth having. Yoghurt was provided the night before when leaving the restaurant so don't forget to ask for it if you'd like it in the morning. The Staff in the restaurant were very attentive, enjoying conversation while ensuring all our needs were being met.

A charming property in a beautiful location.
Venaria Reale is a gorgeous little town, and Residence La Pera Bugiarda is just off the main cobbled street close to the palace.
Drive through an archway to a courtyard, and the rooms are off that courtyard...though you pick up keys from the restaurant on the street.
There was a rustic feel to the room I had with visible beams and you could feel the age of the property - in a very nice way.
I had a small room just for myself, but everything was just right.
Highly recommended. I want to stay there again for my next trip, but it seems to get booked very quickly.

Great rooms, clean and serviced with everything and more, television, air conditioning, wifi, comfortable even for families, a stone's throw from the Royal Palace of Casale, at the same time the street of Andrea Mensa, is the Movita di Venaria. Trying to believe. Daniele Dragone.
