We landed here by accident. It simply had to be a short-term overnight stay in the Rems Valley. Once there was a beer on the terrace. You rarely find a nicer view. Dinner was a blast. Very good Swabian cuisine, a great waitress and all at a very fair price. We were thrilled. Then we went to the room. Check In very personal and straightforward. The decor of our room was rather basic. There could be a little more "cosmetics" going on. The view from our terrace was incredibly beautiful though. The room clean, the bathroom contemporary and the mattresses very good. The breakfast was especially impressive by the senior boss. We have felt and very comfortable and will definitely come back. Thanks for the great hospitality

The room and the beds were fine, the breakfast was a disaster: the breakfast room was full, the buffet had no bread rolls. Every 10 minutes a single tray came out of the oven, a bit little for about 30 people with empty plates. I actually only wanted to eat a bread roll with jam, but after half an hour (!!!) I still didn't have a bread roll. I won't even mention the rest of the buffet... even the great advertisement doesn't help. I've never experienced anything like it :((((((

This was quite the experience and a welcome one at that. Our room was extremely attractive and large--the views were wonderful. The pillows were not the greatest and a small fridge would have been nice, but overall we were very happy with our accommodations--highly recommend!
The restaurant was absolutely beautiful and the food matched! The views were amazing and the wait staff very professional, especially server #11 ( a young lady who had lived in South Carolina for several months).
The breakfast was superior and we looked forward to it each morning--the Familie Bauer themselves helped with the breakfast and they were so personable!
We would love to visit again!!

We had a super stay at this hotel, it was our second visit and hopefully not our last. The view lives up to the hotel's name which is now run by the third generation of the same family. We dined on both evenings of our stay and found it really easy to choose from the superb menu and we loved what we chose too. We also enjoyed some good wines during our stay, there is a fabulous terrace and it was warm enough (just) to sit outside on our first night. The hotel has a good sized car park too. We booked very easily direct, not online, and very much look forward to our next stay. A big thank you to everyone at Das Burghotel Schöne Aussicht.

The hotel is nice and the rooms are pretty big. Unfortunately the underground corridor is too warm and not ventilated. When you have early breakfast, not everything is ready. Good restaurant with wonderful view, especially at sunset.

A very cozy and comfortable place and a very warm and friendly family who welcomes and takes care of you.
This time since I am with the kids, I took the apartment above the owners home which is hire big and private too.
The breakfast is quite adequate even for a vegetarian family like mine and the staff are very prompt and friendly.
I keep coming back here because of the friendly staff and the quiet and comfortable place. Highly recommended.

If your travels bring you in this neck of the woods make sure to stop by at Schoene Aussicht. On a clear day the view from their large terrace is breathtaking. Some of the inside tables also have a nice view in case it is too cold to sit outside. The menu is traditional Swabian food the quality of which is very high. Prices are pretty reasonable. They offer a Sunday Brunch (the variety of which is a little puny by international standards but is also relatively low cost at €13.80 including drinks). Lunch and Dinner are al la carte and offer a great variety of choices including fish. The majority of hot meals is only served during core hours but they do offer a reduced hot/cold menu during off times. This is also a great place to just enjoy coffee amd cake in the afternoon. A small hotel is attached to restaurant. There is plenty of free parking for all guests. Service is professional and efficient.
