We chose this hotel by reading the reviews which turned out, as never before, to be truthful. It is a perfect hotel from all points of view: for the central location, in front of the main entrance to the spa, for the comfort and elegance of the structure, for the excellent cuisine and finally for the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner Walter, a gentleman who welcomes you as only a true host can do. The hotel offers private parking close to the structure and has been recently renovated with marble floors in the reception area, in the hall and in the bar room. The very comfortable hall also has a small outdoor terrace overlooking a lush valley surrounded by the mountains of the Maiella National Park, while in the bar room there is a piano with various scores available to customers who want to entertain themselves. On a cliff adjacent to the hotel there is a relaxation area facing the road and overlooking the valley, equipped for entertaining and socializing. The rooms are large, comfortable, very clean and furnished with air conditioning, TV, telephone, desk and safe, the bathroom has a very spacious shower. The hotel is spread over two other upper floors where there are rooms all equipped with balconies or large terraces and finally the terrace with the solarium completes the beauty of this structure. In the lower part there is a large dining room and two other adjoining rooms, used for breakfast, furnished with good taste and surrounded by large windows that offer a breathtaking view of the valley and the mountains. The kitchen is another feather in the cap thanks to the skill and knowledge of Walter's wife, assisted by her son Angelo, who alternates with his father and sister Rossella in running the hotel. There is no shortage of typical dishes of the Abruzzo culinary tradition, handmade tagliatelle seasoned with a fragrant ragù or ricotta and lemon ravioli, also handmade, a delight even for the most refined palates. Every day you are offered the choice between two first courses and two second courses, as well as the possibility of being able to help yourself to some side dishes from the buffet. The dishes are plentiful and the beautiful waitresses, Luciana and Annalisa, friendly and smiling, are always available to serve you a possible encore. The breakfast is super abundant with cold cuts, desserts, delicious cakes prepared rigorously by the lady and much more. It is a family-run establishment that makes you feel at home and above all in contact with very friendly and helpful people for any need, we had a great time and will definitely return.

I stayed only one night, with my group at 'Hotel Mazzocca, Caramarico Terme. Welcomed with sympathy and availability by the family that runs it. The rooms were large and clean. You eat with taste the typical cuisine of Abruzzo, perfect room service by the professionalism of Drusiana. Very helpful also to serve breakfast at 6 am, thank you for the courtesy. Highly recommended.

In mid-September my wife and I stayed for three days at the Hotel Mazzocca and it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel, family-run and built in 1948, has a delightful "vintage" appearance which also extends to the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. However, the date of construction should not be misleading, as the rooms are extremely modern and spacious. At guests' disposal there is also a beautiful terrace-solarium on the second floor with a spectacular view of the surrounding Caramanico mountains and a large garden on the ground floor. Private parking is also available.
Having chosen the half board regime, we took advantage of the excellent buffet breakfast, with an abundant choice of savory and sweet options, and above all the excellent hotel restaurant.
The location is also excellent, a few hundred meters from the main street and close to a small supermarket and a grocery store where you can also have lunch; about ten to fifteen minutes' walk away is the visitor center of the Orfento river valley, from which the path starts that leads to the bottom of the spectacular canyon carved by the river.
If we find ourselves in the area again in the future, we will certainly return to the Hotel Mazzocca.

We stayed for three days at the Hotel Mazzocca and it was once again an excellent choice. We have been going to this establishment for more than 5 years now and it is always nice to return.
The hotel, family-run, has its strong point in the courtesy and friendliness of the family that manages the hotel.
We took advantage of the excellent buffet breakfast, organized by Mrs Rita with an abundant choice of savory and sweet, with various cakes made according to the Abruzzo tradition.
Mrs. Rita is a very good hostess and an excellent cook.
Delicious dinners with typical dishes in the hotel restaurant with a spectacular view of the surrounding Caramanico mountains.
The private parking and the mega TV in the hall are useful for watching matches or other sporting events and/or an interesting documentary on the history of the Caramanico Baths and the Majella National Park.
Congratulations to the beautiful family.
To return as soon as possible.
JohnRocco and Family.

Chosen almost by chance I found a structure completely renovated and spotless. The hotel is located close to the town center, also convenient to reach the essential services (bakery, grocery, restaurants, pharmacy, bars) and the Park Visitor Center that I Recommendation to visit. The hotel is characterized by a family management attentive to customers but all the staff is very kind. The room is large enough and the bed is comfortable with a perfect mattress; the large bathroom with shower. Breakfast is hearty, with good cakes. For those who want to dine or have lunch at the hotels, I can say that the dishes proposed for dinner are good. Overall a hotel with excellent value for money.

Family-run hotel, comfortable rooms even if not very large. The whole family works to ensure that the stay is as comfortable as possible and above all it attracts a lot thanks to excellent cuisine that is absolutely worth trying. The girls in the room are uniquely courteous, as are all the staff members. Also a positive note is the free internal parking.

Overnight during tours and bike tours in Abruzzo. There were 3, we were accommodated in triple room rather spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was definitely satisfactory, excellent cakes. They placed the e bikes in an indoor garage and with the possibility to recharge at least one battery on site. I would say that it is an accommodation to consider in case of tours in the Maiella area, which is also beautiful.

We stayed one night, and I must say that it was even more beautiful than I expected, Caramanico is magical, the owners are delightful, they made us a heart-shaped balloon in the room, a very nice idea and much appreciated by me and my fiancé. The food in the restaurant, what can I say, I ate an amazing lasagna with pumpkin, mushrooms and sausage, all delicious. Absolutely worth doing again.
