This Hotel, if you manage to get to it, is OK. for the situation for a visit of the city.
Un fortunatly, there is almost no service available from the staff. The nice receptionist has to do everything; give you the key for the garage, fill the reception papers, prepare the breakfast etc..
The rooms facinf the lelevators are too small; the others are good and clean; if you go, ask avoid front rooms.

Wasn't expecting this!Small cramped rooms and shower rooms, couldn't swing a cat!Ok for one person but that's it.Don't expect home comforts. Didn't have bed bugs though thank god!It really needs a damn good make over. The owners are pleasant enough though.

To start the location was perfect. The price was good. It is in close proximity to Alpe d'Huez on the D211. It is a five minute walk into town from the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 8pm the evening we checked in. We were greeted by a nice gentleman who quickly checked us in and showed us to our room. There is bike storage at the back of the hotel which was perfect and safe. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the food but from reading other reviews it appears to be good. The room was cosy, a bit outdated and appeared to be clean. It had a balcony which overlooked Alpe d'Huez, the views were breath taking. The only issue I had with the hotel was my friend got bed bug bites in the room this was only discovered upon arriving home. The name of the room is Chandon Blanc. Overall this let the hotel down and I couldn't recommend staying here my advice is to spend a little more for some cleanliness.

WORST HOTEL OF MY LIFE!!!!
Don’t be surprised when you arrive if you feel like you’re staying in a bunker.
A 6 in a room of about 15m square, the bathroom is a closet broom, the shower is ignoble like the rest of the
room, the stairs worse than the ascent of Everest, breakfast comes down to a donut and tea (if they serve you lucky)
The manager makes you want to run off like the poodle barking early in the day.

After spending the first night at the hotel I noticed a few small bites, but the problem became apparent the following night. Due to uncomfortable and increasingly more pronounced itching I woke up at around 2:30 in the morning and as I turned on the light saw a large number of bed bugs everywhere. Immediately after, me and my spouse packed everything and escaped the hotel.
To top it all, Mr. Cristophe Menant manager of Hotel le Terminus has not been in contact ever since we filed a complaint against the sanitary conditions of the hotel and asked for a return of funds.

The Hotel Le Terminus is directly across from the bus station and is relatively cheap, so is very handy if one is just looking for a quick overnighter. Rooms are small, but that is nothing unusual in the way of French hotels, especially in the price range.
The hotel is charming to look at but not so charming inside. The stairwell leading up to the rooms (there is no elevator) is very narrow and very steep and wouldn't be suitable for guests who are not reasonably fit.
Christophe, the proprietor, was helpful in that he allowed us to leave some luggage to pick up when we returned from hiking. However, overall the service was desultory at best. Breakfast was the bare minimum that one would expect and there was a mix-up about the deposit we'd paid, exacerbated by the fact that Christophe had not confirmed he'd received it. The impression we got was that Christophe didn't really want to be doing what he was doing. Nonetheless, if you are heading straight out to hike the GR54 as we were, it's a reasonable option. If you want a longer stay to do some cycling or want a romantic interlude, go somewhere else.

Found this hotel via an internet search while touring the area by motorcycle. The offer of 65E including breakfast was favorable for a hotel near Alpe d'Huez. Reception promptly picked up the phone, and reservation was easily done.
There is a safe private parking (round back), and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is relatively good: bus station is right next door, and town centre is in walking distance.
The Wifi was Good throughout, which I really appreciated. Checkout was smooth and efficient.
Possible warnings: Eating and drinking seems a bit average. The one-choice-set-meal in the evening and the house-red wine were both somewhat below-par for the price (30E for meatloaf, potato and wine for 1 person). The restaurant also closes early, so you are encouraged to eat timely.
The Breakfast (6.50E) is pricey for what is on offer: Coffee, water, bread and jam (no fruit, no meat or cheese?). You could consider finding a local boulangerie for petit-dejeurner.
All in all, the room price was favorable, but my total spending still came close to 100E.
I would stay there again, but maybe eat out.

Stayed here before cycling Alpe d'Huez. Friendly, clean hotel with an ample sized supper.
Although decor is dated its clean and the couple are very friendly who run the place.
Recommendations given to for things to do locally. Thank you.

I pitched up at the Hotel Terminus cold & very wet, having driven down an Alp in a thunderstorm! The owner didn’t bat an eye as my bedraggled shape dripped quietly on his bar-room floor & he acknowledged my request for a room with a smile. I was allowed access to the small carpark to the rear, where I hurriedly put the covers on the car & ran indoors. Plentiful hot water for a shower to ease the chill was luxury, after which I was able to appreciate both the room, which was reasonably sized for my needs (including spreading out wet clothes) & had a terrific view.

Dinner in the restaurant was great, really good food in a well appointed but not fussy dining room. It’s a quiet location, especially as my room was away from the road, I slept without disturbance with the window open. Breakfast is served in the bar rather than the restaurant, none the worse for that. It’s a good selection of cold meat, cheese, breads & croissants. Extremely reasonably priced, €90 for dinner B&B, a goodly chunk of which was beer!

It’s a bit of a walk from the centre of town, but five minutes will see you there on foot & the rates reflect that. I’d heartily recommend this hotel, obviously it’s not the Ritz, but you’re not paying Ritz prices. It was perfect for my needs & I’d willingly return either alone or with my wife.
