With only four cosy spa cottages nestled amongst 20 acres and all with magnificent uninterrupted views of Lake Baroon, your privacy is assured. All our luxurious spa cottages feature king size beds, double spas, cosy wood fire places and air-conditioning for extra comfort. A private undercover carport is attached to each cottage. The quaint little town of Montville where you’ll find many shops, cafes and restaurants is less than 3kms down the road. There is also Flame Hill Winery which is only 300metres along the road. A relaxing massage can also be arranged in the privacy of your cottage. At Misty View there are many little extras, such as plush bath robes & slippers, luxurious linen & boutique bathroom products. Gourmet plunger coffee, a selection of fine teas and hot chocolate are also provided.

We had an amazing stay for our honeymoon. Shell and Tony looked after everything and we did not feel like we were missing a single thing. The food hampers delivered to your cottage are delicious and such a great idea. The Lalique cottage is private and secluded and the heated pool is what dreams are made of. We cannot wait to stay again!

I saw these Misty View Cottages on the internet and thought it would be a great place to send my parents for an early anniversary holiday.
My parents absolutely loved it! Right from when they first checked In at reception to when they left they felt welcomed and looked after.
I got a number of the food packages for them and they mentioned that the food was fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared and there was plenty of it.
They said the view from the balcony and windows was spectacular and they also liked how secluded their cottage was.
The cottage was spotless with lots of little extra touches that made it even more special.
The hosts, Shell and Tony were so lovely and accommodating!
Thankyou for making this such a special stay for my parents.
I highly recommend Misty View Cottages to anyone who is staying in the area.

Staying at Misty View Cottages was an amazing experience. The cottages are set up perfectly, there is plenty of firewood and the breakfast hamper was unexpected and abundant. I loved the BBQ and being able to cook in the cottage.
The view of the lake was incredible. I loved watching the view change throughout the day. My first morning in the cabin, I realised why they call it misty view.
We will definitely be back next year.

We booked for one night, stayed for two and wish we had the time to stay longer. We stayed in the Savoy. Fabulous view across to the lake. Immaculately furnished cottage. We didn't use the TV nor played music, just sat and enjoyed the sounds of the surrounding bush.
We indulged in purchasing the Welcome Hamper as well as the Seafood Hamper for dinner as we were time challenged in not organising food for our stay NOR did we want to head out to any of the local restaurants in Montville or Maleny. A fabulous decision! Hampers are amazing.
The included Breakfast hamper had a great mix of cereal, fruit, juice and the good ole eggs/bacon/tomato. BUT the big surprise was delivery of fresh Croissants delivered to our door at 8am each morning.
We very much look forward to returning.

Misty View Cottages is set in an idyllic spot on the Sunshine Coast. We stayed in the Bali Cottage which has a beautiful view of Lake Baroon and Maleny. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable, with Shell and Tony going above and beyond as hosts to ensure we had an enjoyable stay! The breakfast and dinner hampers are a generous and delicious selection of the best produce the Sunshine Coast has to offer. I would also recommend getting the hosts to organise a massage while you are there as well. We absolutely loved our mini holiday and will definitely be repeat customers! Thank you again Tony and Shell for a marvellous weekend!

We stayed at Misty View Cottages in Lalique for our Anniversary 💖
The cottage was beautiful & we especially loved the pool & daybed & spent nearly all our time out there. We really appreciated the styling & little touches like the candles, rug & bathrobes as those things just made it all that more luxurious.
The meals were absolutely delicious, good value & very generous and the fresh warm croissants every morning were such a beautiful treat.
Toasting marshmallows over the open fire each night was divine too!
We highly recommend staying here, you won’t want to leave, we didn’t.

Everything you need, and everything you could ever ask for, at a chic and cosy cabin. We stayed in the Charleston, which was perfect for a couple. Super clean. Comforable bed with luxurious cotton and linen bedding. Breakfast provisions were generous enough that we made a couple of evening meals out of them as well; ditto the welcome hamper - terrific cheeses, with dried fruit, the freshest walnuts and prosciutto. Many thoughtful touches, e.g., olive oil, good salt and a pepper grinder for cooking. The loft bedroom is situated so that you can see outdoors from in the bed; ditto the spa tub, which was enormous. Shell is exquisite: attentive, thoughtful, funny and kind - available and unobtrusive. Once I post this review I'll book again for next winter!

We had such a perfect weekend at the Lalique cottage! Unfortunately our wedding in Bali was cancelled due to the travel restrictions but the owners at misty view cottage made our weekend there instead so perfect.
All the finishing touches, beautiful food hampers and plunge pool felt like we brought Bali to us and it will be a weekend I will never forget.

We had a wonderful time relaxing in luxurious style at Misty View Cottages. The hosts left a hamper of local products and freshly baked goods on arrival. The space is cosy with a very comfortable bed and furniture. It is very private nestled in lush rainforest and the expansive view is spectacular. The hosts were very welcoming, offering generous recommendations for local eateries and tourist attractions. We recommend the massage option which was excellent. And the croissants are delicious. Will definitely be back.
