#5 of 18 Speciality lodging in Sant Joan de Labritja
Welcome to Can Pere Sord Rural Tourism, an oasis of peace and tranquillity away from the noisiest parts of Ibiza. The property is built on fertile, clay-coloured land in the town of Sant Joan, in the northern part of the island. The house is over two hundred years old, and has been reformed in the popular Ibiza style. Its installations aim to combine traditional features with modern comforts.

We booked a junior suite for 4 persons. Total amount for 4 people on reservation was confirmed for 220€ . Finally they charged 320€ saying that in the small letters it was indicated that they could charge 50 extra pp (in Spanish) and that they did not understand what went wrong. Nevertheless on our booking confirmation it was clearly indicated that we reserved the room for 4 people and that the total amount was 220€. So this gives a very bad feeling and is not correct. On top the service at breakfast was poor as there was no buffet but only a small trolley from which we could choose limited items. There was a jacuzzi on our terrace but it was not clean and the jets did not work. The rooms are very dark.

I really loved my stay here, the staff are friendly and helpful and are dedicated to ensuring you have a relaxed stay. The accommodation is clean and has everything you need. Breakfast is long and chilled with a great choice. The pool is deep and clean and surrounded by beautiful flowers and gardens. It is a great location, really easy to get to from the main road, however you still feel secluded and away from it all in perfect surroundings. A great place to know about and return to on this fantastic island.

Unfortunately not a positive review. Though the grounds and pool are very well appointed, the catering facilities were unacceptable. Breakfast on our first morning the worst breakfast I have experienced so far. Mouldy fruit on display, ham and cheese that was out of the fridge and dried up, looking very unappealing, the bread was finished, croissants too. Fresh fruit juice had gone sour. Service was pòor, eventually replacement bread was found, white sliced bread, but no croissants. Jacuzzi in our room was dry, and eventually upon request was filled the following day. There was a lunch menu at reception, and when we wanted to order something within the given opening hours, we were told the kitchen was closed. The extra bed added to a double room was not a proper bed but a couch, extremely hard and uncomfortable. All in all, we left with a bad taste in our mouths. I requested compensation but was refused.

Pere’s family have run this place for generations. The grounds are covered in wild flowers and lemon trees. The mountaneous views are breathtaking and the service was incredible throughout our stay. The breakfast was spot on every time with freshly squeezed juices and great coffee. We’d definitely visit again!!!!

This is an amazing little Agroturismo in the north of the Island. As usual for these kind of places, you need to drive up a bumpy dirt road however the owner sends email instructions and they are easily found on Google maps. This is a hundred year old Finca that has been upgraded to beautiful locally decorated rooms. The rooms have air-conditioning and in our case a whirlpool bathtub and wonderful terrace. They have a lovely pool which surprisingly is over 2 m deep so no, low part to step into, there is a child pool next to it that is fenced off for security. Breakfast is a stunning display of freshly squeezed juices, 5 different choices every morning and a magnificent spread with every type of soy, natural, and almond milk. There is a bar that is open 24/7 which is based on trust as you write down what you drink. definitely great getaway if you want peace and quiet
