When I arrived I was given very good help over the phone, but then I couldn't find the hotel straight away. Very friendly reception, I could use the double room alone, it was very clean and there was a coffee machine and water in the room. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast buffet was very good. The breakfast times are very good, from 6.30-10.30, so great for working people and holidaymakers alike. I would stay there again anytime.

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) for one night to go to Peppa Pig Park. I must say we all LOVED it! -Friendly reception who speak English/German. -Free parking -Free wifi -Rooms are soo clean & spacious. -Amazing huge kids room for playing -Small play area outdoor with sand/slide/swing. -Bathroom/toilet really clean -Bedsheets/Towels nicely ironed & clean. -Even baby cots were given in the room (we didn’t need it) but for those who are wondering yes it’s there. -Breakfast is good, nice selection of teas/coffees.
I would actually give 5 star for all except for these 3 things if something could be done maybe in future. -No A/C in the rooms.. you literally die in summer nights🥵if you keep windows open mosquitoes get it. -No peephole in hotel room door. -Nothing was labelled during breakfast what is what. Some sausages were there but no idea which is which.

Room was ok. Too bad the TV couldn't be moved. Clearly a real family hotel (near Legoland), which is why it was very loud at breakfast. Breakfast manageable, but overall ok. Not so suitable for couples, except as a stopover.

Nice staff. Hotel unfortunately not maintained with love. Carpet and hygiene in the room not top. Hair everywhere. Mold. Rooms actually big. Huge building. You get a feeling of mass handling. If weather is not good, unfortunately no place to relax. For short stay and visit to Legoland quite okay. Breakfast space really very crowded in part. Lots in disposable mini portions. Plastic alarm. It's too bad. In this day and age. No role model.

Very good location, just near the highway, but place is very quiet. Free parking. Rooms were clean, tasty and reach breakfast, very good coffee, helpful staff. Not far from Stuttgart where we visit a fair and for families it is near the famous Legoland.

The hotel is in a quiet location, despite its proximity to the motorway. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, everything you need for a good breakfast. Even the coffee was very good. The communication was very pleasant. All of our special requests were fulfilled.

Pros: very near to legoland, family type of hotel, good breakfast. Cons: no air conditioner, room is not very clean, no fridge We stayed for two nights, but I have to say that in June the weather was hot and the bed need thinner blankets since there is no air. Be alarmed of mosquitos, outside the bedroom view there's a small park for children so a lot of green area. The hotel is also very near to an outlet, 5 min of walk.

Having visited Legoland Deutschland (it's never to late to experience a happy childhood!) in Guenzburg and then heading back to Sweden, me and my wife stayed over the night at the Best Hotel Mindeltal.
Knowing that all those families with kids from Legoland will probably leave at around 2000hrs (Legoland cloeses at 21-2200hrs), me and the wife left at about 1800 to get a head start over all that people. A bit east of Guenzburg, approx one hour or so, there's a small place called Scheppach, where we saw a hotel sign on the autobahn. The hotel wasn't difficult to find, so we parked the car just outside the entrance to check if they had a room for the night, which they had.
The ventilation sucked though, so we had to open the window in the bathroom and the one in the room, to get rid of the water vapour from the shower. I couldn't see any ventilation out-inlets anywhere. Weird. The hotel seemed to be rather new, so maybe they didn't fix it yet. Anyway, the problem wasn't so big, only a bit irritating.
The receptionists were very nice and courteous, actually more than you'd expect from a roadside joint, if you get my drift. And apparantely this hotel caters a lot to Legoland, as the nice lady in the reception first asked if we had any kids (which we don't), and then advised us to have breakfast before 0700 in the morning, as the breakfast area would be filled with families and screaming kids after that time. That was very considerate of her. I like!
The rooms were otherwise quite well isolated and we heard no children screaming, or any other disturbancies. The only time we noticed more-than-usual-fuss was in the morning when the families started to gravitate towards breakfast.
The hotel doesn't have a restaurant per se, only a bar. There are however an italian and a chinese restaurant a stones throw away. We chose the italian one, and were pleasantly surprised that the food was so good. After all, it was roadside place. The repertoire ranged from regular pizzas to more elaborate a lá carte-dishes. The waitress had her 6yr-old (or something) daughter there that helped out. Very nice and helpful.
As for screaming children, I don't hate children or anything. I am only not very fond of the noise they make... Being on vacation, you rather want some peace and quiet, right?
