Pleasant enough stay near to family who we were visiting. Food in pub satisfactory but service slow. Bed fairly comfortable, bath nice. Windows dirty, room very hot as curtains did not shut out the sun.
Pole gate was clean and easy to find. Room was quiet will go back. Food was nice and hot, friendly staff. Macdonalds opposite was a bonus. Parking easy we will return. Easy to get places from there. There was nothing I did not like. Room was clean, bathroom was clean.
What an absoloute pig dump of a hotel. Never ever stayed in a room like it. Checked in late Friday evening, after 10pm just wanted hot shower and bed. No hot water. No hot water in the morning either. Asked at reception for a refund, you have to do it online now! Please look at the photos of the room. Bathroom ceiling extractor hanging off, black mould marks. Staines carpets everywhere,. Dark dirty windows and curtains. Absolutely disgraceful. Staines pullout bed/sofa
The outside of the property is not welcoming, very untidy and in need of some grounds works. The inside was and the groom were at best grubby, at worst filthy. Not what I would have expected from what the name of the brand suggests, it was no way premier. 48 hours before the stay, we were informed of restaurant restriction and reduced service and on the day some food items were not available. Very poor considering the cost.
Not as clean as it could have been in the room. Far too hot in the room at night. Very noisy in the area with revving bikes and cars. I would not stay here again. I’m the plus side, the staff were friendly.
Was down visiting relatives, booked room in the morning to arrive later on in the day, the room was £98, the room needed updating, it had a single bed in the corner which looked like it had seen better days, there was a small hole in the wall by the bed, the toilet wasn’t very clean at all, the window was open, we left it open because at night the rooms get quite warm and we had the fan on all night, but also we got a few bugs because the greenery is not cut back outside the window, the bed was also not that comfortable, in the morning I pulled the curtain and there was mould across the top of the window, the window was dirty and the net curtain was dirty, I’m sorry but for £98 for the night, even if the room needs updating I would expect the cleanliness to be one hundred per cent, but it isn’t, and I won’t be staying here any more…
Pretty average, but as you'd expect from a Premiere Inn. It did the job, you know what you're getting, the rooms were clean and the service was good. The hotel itself was a bit dated, but it was comfortable and had free parking.
You know what you are getting with a Premier Inn and with Polegate you get a great location for exploring the South Downs, Eastbourne and Brighton. the staff were great and very friendly and the room was as expected. Breakfast was very good but the location was the important factor for exploring the area
The Polegate Premier Inn offers a friendly no fuss easy stay in comfortable clean rooms and supported by the excellent pub that serves unbelievable value morning breakfasts for all tastes and dietary requirements. The staff are courteous, helpful and always on hand and no reasonable request was too much bother for them.
We use Premier Inns because they consistently provide excellent Access rooms, well trained staff and comfort. They are convenient and friendly. This one was placed in a busy location but useful for getting to other places nearby. So pleased that due to Covid restrictions being eased we are able to use this excellent chain again.
