We've recently managed to get home from Panama to Wales. We stayed here for over two weeks. The owner Tara really was our fairy godmother while Betsy & Elsie looked after us making our meals. Set on the side of the mountain we had an fabulous infinity pool with stunning views down to the coast and Coronado. We stayed in villa no 1 which has a lovely out door shower and everything else you needed for a comfortable stay including air conditioning. The terrace was beautiful with a day bed, table and chairs. There are only three villas which means that even during normal time you can enjoy the tranquillity. It is a place that we will definitely return to once this epidemic is over. We can't thank the people that looked after us enough.

After staying few days in busy PANAMA city - we found this gorgeous place online.
Beautiful, quiet place with a wonderful view over the landscape and the ocean in the background.
The people taking care of us at the place were very friendly and helpful.
The pool was just perfect!!
The house - villa - is very nicely done. The outdoor shower is unbelievable!! The big bath tap, the super comfortable bed and the terrace outside… everything was just perfect!!
If I ever come back to Panama - I will definitely go back to the La Maracuya Panama!! 🤗

This property excels in almost every way one could for a lover of nature and peace and quiet. The management team on site is superb, the food prepared by one of the team, Betsy, is excellent and delivered to your patio. The maintenance gentleman is tremendous and “Johnny on the Spot” whenever something isn’t perfect. This is an EXCELENTE birding spot for it is on a tree-lined edge of an agricultural valley allowing for viewing of birds common to sub-tropic grasslands e.g. Forked-tailed Flycatcher. My companion, who is a serious birder and bird photographer got 4 new life birds there. Wonderful infinity swimming pool and a beautiful setting. Very clean! Outdoor shower and a luxurious bath tube in the units.

I booked there with my son for a weekend on a travel site. We showed up on Friday at around happy hour, after a 2 hour drive, and they told us that there were no rooms available. I showed them them the electronic booking. They said, nope, sorry. So, we booked another hotel nearby. Guess what... this place still charged us! They then refused to reverse the charges and said we owed for eating at the restaurant! We did not even stay there! I am still owed money from this hotel to this day! So, be careful, don't leave your wallet laying around this management team!

Hello, I'm very surprised to see your review. I can only repeat what I the previous owners have answered you by email on December 17th last year. As I took over the b&b in january, I can only say that our clients have been vety happy and so all reviews show. ** According to Hotels.com your reservation shows from the 13th to the 15th. You didn't arrive on the 13th effectively forfeiting your reservation and our cancellation clearly states that you will be charged if you don't cancel or show up. You did arrive at our hotel on the 15th, the day you were meant to check out, and did not have a reservation. The room you had booked for the previous nights was not available at that time but we did put you up in a different room free of charge. You stayed an additional night on October 16th in the room you originally reserved. So we only charged you for that night and not the two nights that you technically owed us. You also ate several meals that you never paid for. So technically you owe us for two additional nights that you didn't show for and for the meals you didn't pay for. We have been more than generous by only charging you for one night and we are still waiting for your payment for the food you consumed. ""

I was a guest staying there. There are small local busses going by the La Maracuya towards the main road where you can catch main busses towards PANAMA city. Enjoy your stay there! It’s a really gorgeous and peaceful place :)
There are more places to choose from in the Playa Coronado area.
