For 10 years, we have stayed at Agriturismo Angelucci for one week each summer. It is the perfect location for visiting Abruzzo -- 20 minutes to the sea, 40 minutes to the heart of the Apennine mountains. The views of the mountains from outside the building are stunning, the breakfast ample with fresh fruits and cheeses and served with care, the rooms have air conditioning (yay!!!), and now there is a beautiful pool to help beat the summer heat. Most importantly, the Angelucci family treats everyone like their own family, is completely knowledgeable about historical and cultural experiences in the area, and they are willing to accommodate the needs of all their guests. We can't wait to return in 2024!

My partner and I absolutely loved staying here. It was amazing to have an opportunity to sleep at a farmstead where you are surrounded by the mountains, breath-taking landscape views, grape vines, olive trees and farm animals. The personal story of this family and how they built up their agritourism business is heart-warming and inspiring. The hosts are very hospitable, providing fresh fruit and food from the farm for breakfast, offering information of what to see and what to do in the area. The home is clean and beautifully designed. Further, this farmstay is close to several beaches, close to ancient towns built on the edge of mountains and not far from Lanciano.

When we read Angelucci's reviews, we really wanted to stay. While we got off to a little rocky start (good thing I speak third grade Italian, because I finally got us checked in with the help of one of the grandchildren), our visit was ok. We needed help getting the heat to work, which came the day after we arrived. No dinner was available, and there was sporadic, weak Internet service, but the room was comfortable and we got two excellent nights of sleep. The location is rural, which is exactly what we wanted, yet it is only about 15 minutes from town. The views are gorgeous. Agritourismo Angelucci is good value for the money.

We read all the great reviews of this B&B and so booked it. We arrived Sunday evening into Lanciano after flying into Rome (about a 3 hour drive). The place was very difficult to locate even with our GP, and the door to the B&B was locked and appeared closed. We had to bang on the door for a few minutes to get someone to open but then were greeted by a pleasant older woman (I believe one of the owners). When I say she can't speak a word of English, I'm not exaggerating. She did her best and was gracious but after being up all night it would have been great to have had a little different arrival experience. We may have been the only guests and were just there one night. The next morning a young lady that works for them prepared breakfast and she spoke some English so that was nice. The breakfast was made to order and abundant. We never met any other family members as mentioned in some of the posts. The views were nice, however the room we had opened to the back and was on the bottom floor which didn't really have a view. We were also never able to get the internet to work (even with the help of the young lady the next morning), which would've been helpful to let family members know we had made it to Europe.

The property is cute, staff awesome! I would certainly come back on spring and summer! The view from the apenines is wonderful! The rooms are simple and cosy, and breakfast from the farm, homemade! You can have cooking lessons, buy local food, see the animals. Certainly reccomend!

We had four wonderful days at this magnificent place. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was sumptuous with many local products. Can only recommend to stay here. A small but, however, is that booking.com promise that the restaurant is open for dinner when ordering. This was not possible for a single day we were there, unfortunately. As well, they promise a large garden with tables, chairs and sun loungers. There is no garden. We missed it.

The view from Agriturismo Angelucci is beautiful and enchanting. We received a warm welcome even though the family was having Sunday dinner. That welcome extended throughout our stay. Ileana, who takes care of guests, was attentive and helpful. Our breakfasts and a dinner were very good. Ileana also gave us good advice on touring the area and about a top-notch restaurant in Lanciano, Ristorante da Speranza. We wished we had planned to stay more days.

We stayed here as a base for our car tour of the Val di Sangro / Aventino region and it was perfect. It was a peaceful, relaxed place to spend the nights and a convenient base for our stay, clean, new construction, big rooms and beds, quite comfortable. Our hosts were helpful and informative, attentive and made us feel quite at home and welcome without being at all intrusive, a real pleasure. They seemed genuinely delighted to host us. On the night of our arrival we enjoyed a lovely fire in the common room fireplace. Breakfast was an array of high-quality, delectable, even elegant treats, many local items, premium deli meats, cheeses and fresh fruits, fruit juice and wine, good coffee, selection of breads and sweets, homemade jams, olives and olive oil of the season, more than you could want but a treat to sample such a lovely table. It was a highlight for us. Lovely surroundings, pretty olive groves and orchards, the farm animals a treat for the kids. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside all the way to La Maiella and Gran Sasso. If touring Abruzzo, book this B&B with confidence, you are sure to enjoy it. Highest recommendation.

Quaint country guest house, overlooking a lovely valley. The rooms are spotless, of comfortable size and tastefully furnished. The breakfasts were a treat with traditional cakes/biscuits, home baked bread, fruit grown on the premises and farm fresh eggs. The hospitality was first class with personal attention from Anna, the owner. Vince & Claudia Sydney, Australia.
