The luxurious newly built Kresten Royal Euphoria resort stands majestically on the magnificent slope of Kallithea, next to the sea, on the site of an ancient quarry (excavated for the city's fortifications during ancient and medieval times). The resort offers excellent quality services, wonderful tastes with a beautiful captivating view of the Aegean Sea, while it is ideal for unique private and relaxing moments. All the elements make up an unforgettable image. Highly aesthetic spaces, warm and kind people with a tradition of excellent service, dedicated to your well-being. However, the most distinct luxury of all is EUPHORIA, the invigorating sense of well-being experienced by guests having now found that coveted space in which they will feel 'at home'.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at Kresten Royal Euphoria, spending 10 nights as a party of 6 (aging from 16 to 75 year old).
Despite being the summer holidays, the hotel had a relaxed vibe and never felt overly crowded, as there was plenty of areas to sit to socialise and have a drink.
Whilst the hotel is quite isolated, it is only a 7 minute walk to the main road where you can find the bus stop. It is easy to catch a bus. We got a taxi into Rhodes Old Town which cost 17euros. The hotel is also a short taxi drive from the Faliraki WaterPark - which was great.
POOLS: We were able to get sun loungers everyday, people did put down towels but this wasn't over the top and excessive, so we always managed to get a lounger. Salt Pool was the larger pool, great being situated next to the Aura bar/restaurant. Be warned about entering the salt water pool though as it is a little slippy on entry and I saw several people nearly falling over on entering. Top pool was equally good with a smaller bar - the sun shades at this pool did seem a little 'holey' and you felt that they didn't give you as much protection from the sun!
BEACH: Having access to the beach was a definite plus, and it was great to go snorkelling and see some fish. The pier shown in promotional photos sadly no longer exists and would be great if this was rebuilt. Some of the parasols were broken and could do with being replaced. Would recommend that further sun loungers are installed on the beach also.
As this was a 5 star hotel, I was surprised to find that staff didn't come around to offer you a drink, or to bring things like watermelon slices during the day. This didn't really bother me, but we had this at a previous 4 star hotel in Crete and I would recommend that this just adds a little extra touch!
RESTAURANTS: Main restaurant: We never had to queue for long to get a table in the restaurant, staff were lovely. The food was excellent. Great variety of choice and whilst there were some themed evening (e.g. Chinese) you never failed to find something that you liked! I heard one lady complaining on an evening where there was a lot of fish dishes, about the lack of choice, but I felt this was an unfair comment, as there were so many (non-fish) dishes to choose from! You never really had to queue in the restaurant itself to get food, which was great, apart from getting freshly made pancakes - but this is fully understandable. The only niggle we had, was that there rarely any spoons laid out for breakfast or on occasion for dinner! We were always joking about if we would find a teaspoon or not for our tea/coffee in the morning! Only other recommendation is to have more signage - as it was a little bit of guess work what each of the desserts were (all main dishes were labelled), those with dietary requirements may have had a struggle.
I was a little worried how easy it would be to book into the A la Carte restaurants, but I need not have worried, we were able to book at all the A la carte restaurants during our stay and the food was amazing. Asian - buffet style; Aura and Fos had limited set menus, but food was divine! We did have difficulty trying to book our reservations on the hotel app (as you need to book for each room separately), but the reception staff were able to make the reservations for us which was so much easier!
Aura restaurant (daytime) - great for getting pizza, gyros, salad etc for lunch; croissants etc for a late breakfast; and crepes late afternoon.
ROOMS: We had 3 superior doubles with sea views and the rooms were spacious and cleaned every day. We had a large balcony, which was great. The chambermaid was absolutely lovely and always had a smile on her face. I did feel that the rooms could have a more homely feel - add a few pictures or colour - they are very neutral (white/beige). I also think as a 5 star hotel, that the products offered in the bathroom could have a better feel of quality - the conditioner and shampoo felt quite basic (in wall mounted dispensers). There were no little extras that you might expect either - e.g. a notepad and pencil for notes; a little manicure set, those little touches that make a difference. All this said, we liked our room and have no real complaints, just suggestions.
BARS: Thea Bar - the staff were great and clearly enjoy working at this hotel having worked there for years. Petros and George were always there with a smile and knew your drinks order! George made the best Espresso Martini's! Hats off to the hotel for such a great and extensive drinks menu, and great to see that branded drinks were used.
ENTERTAINMENT: I thought that the hotel had a great range of entertainment in the evenings. The Violin performance was amazing and was definitely the highlight for us. It is a shame that the ampitheatre isn't used more for some of the entertainment evenings, as this had more seating available - it wasn't possible to fit everyone in around the terrace area for some of the entertainment evenings, though you could sit inside and view through the window.
SPA: Great packages on offer, would recommend; husband and I had a lovely Cretan massage.
FACILITIES: We used the tennis courts on several days during our stay, and unfortunately resorted to buying some tennis balls ourselves, as the hotel supplied balls were so terrible! To be fair to the hotel the did purchase some new ones during our stay, but this was after the fact! The tennis courts could do with a little maintenance - the nets need a little TLC. We also played table tennis and whilst the tables were really good, the bats were bobbled and falling apart - they definitely need replacing!
Overall this was a great hotel and I would definitely recommend. We loved our stay.

Dear Cookie0709, Kalimera from "Your Kresten Royal Euphoria Team". Thank you for your comprehensive and thoughtful review of your stay at Kresten Royal Euphoria Resort. We’re delighted to hear that you and your party had such an enjoyable experience, from our relaxing atmosphere to the wide range of amenities and entertainment. It’s wonderful to know that you appreciated the hotel’s relaxed vibe, even during the busy summer holidays, and that you found our facilities, like the pools and beach access, to be well-suited for a great vacation. We’re glad you enjoyed the variety and quality of our food offerings, and we appreciate your understanding regarding the occasional queues for popular items like pancakes! Your feedback on the rooms and facilities is very valuable to us. We appreciate your suggestions for adding homely touches to the rooms and enhancing the quality of the bathroom products. These insights help us refine our guest experience, and we will certainly take them into consideration. We’re also thrilled that our bar Team, particularly Petros and George, made such a positive impression on you with their friendly service and great drinks. It’s fantastic to hear that the entertainment, especially Leida's Violin performance, was a highlight of your stay. We’ll certainly consider your suggestion about using the amphitheater more often for evening events to accommodate more guests. Thank you for your honest feedback about the tennis facilities and other areas where we can improve. We’re glad we could address the tennis ball issue during your stay, and we’ll look into further enhancing these facilities. Overall, it’s wonderful to know that you would recommend our hotel, and we’re so pleased that you loved your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back for another great experience in the future! Have a nice weekend ahead and greetings from all of us!

Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff who will fulfill any wish! Due to the hillside location you need support as a wheelchair user, but this is immediately available without any problems! Beds helped to restful sleep! Make sure to book Ayurveda treatment at Fenia! Feel like I was born! Eat plenty of choice, but the Austrian palate loves it spicier, which cannot be balanced with pepper and salt. Sweet food a dream😋😘Room always clean and should ever crawl something, someone is immediately on hand! Shampoo, balm, shower gel and body lotion etc. all in the bathroom! In the evening always great program with fireworks twice a week 🎆 Arrive and relax and enjoy a lot of peace! Come back next year! Holidays in paradise, with friends 💞

From everyday life to the relaxation zone Wonderful place to relax body and mind
Rooms are large and have everything you need for a holiday. Great beds, TV, fridge stocked with cold drinks on arrival, which can be refilled afterwards. Water is available daily, Nespresso machine (capsules can be purchased), kettle with tea/coffee, milk and sugar
Bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Plenty of good food on offer throughout the day. Labels are available and understandable. If you have any questions, there is always someone on site to help.
I cannot understand the problem of cold food that is mentioned so often, because if you first look at what is available and then take what you like, you have no problems However, you usually see people walking around with full plates for ages, which leads to cold food.
Entertainment is on 5 evenings a week, the schedule is at reception
The location of the hotel is idyllic and quiet, so if you want to party, this is not the place for you.
Staff are always friendly and welcoming. No matter who and where you get what you give, a smile is enough and you get warmth in return
Highly recommended

Overall a relaxing stay at Euphoria, the hotel was extremely clean and kept to a high standard. My husband and I took a belated honeymoon and received a free upgrade to the seaview suite which felt so private and luxurious. Although we did feel a little disappointed that no mention of our honeymoon was made after this. The pools were lovely to relax by and although it was busy because it’s spaced out it still feels private. I personally struggled with the food and it didn’t feel up to 5 star quality as it was often cold and didn’t feel fresh, there also wasn’t too much variety particularly at lunch time always being the same 3 options which does get a bit repetitive. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful location with lots of flowers and beauty everywhere. There isn’t too much around the resort such as restaurants and cafes although there is a bus stop outside the hotel where you could easily navigate around the island. I would recommend bringing your own towel, you can hire them for 10€ but the quality isn’t great. I also recommend bringing your own reusable water bottle as they have filling stations around the hotel. The bed was very large and comfy and it was always quiet. They also had great entertainment at night and added to the atmosphere. I probably wouldn’t rush to return due to how quiet the surroundings are and there aren’t many places to explore unless you get a taxi. However for a quiet relaxing holiday it was perfect. The staff were always friendly although we did notice the manager always lurking around at meal times not treating the staff very nicely.

We have visited this Hotel several times and always enjoyed ourselves. Food is good, all Hotel staff are polite n friendly but some restaurant staff are slower n less attentive than others. Bar staff, (Manos, George n Pedros) are excellent. Tourist/ Hotel tax is now 10 euros, was 4 euros 12 months ago. Rooms have to be vacated by 1100hrs, was 1200hrs 12 months ago. There is a policy to keep a "room on", if available, we've done this on all our previous visits but were not able this time due to lack of availability. We spoke to many couples leaving the Hotel n not one had been able to keep their "room on", we must all have been unlucky this week. Having said that access to the public loos n showers is given, just maje sure you have soap, toiletries n towels to hand. The pools are not as clean as they used to be and can be very slippy around the poolside.. The Life Guard splits his time between the adult pool n the family pool now. Dress codes don't appear to be adhered to anymore. All in all, still a good Hotel with potential, the place is getting tired and standards are slipping, which is a shame. We still enjoyed our stay but this will probably be our last.

Superb. And this would normally be hard to say because between my wife and I we spent 4 of our 10 days sick in bed. Nothing to do with the hotel. . The room was excellent and the mosquito blind across the patio door meant doors could be left open.
Hotels were spotless and a special mention must go to Mary our room attendant who was amazing especially while we were ill.
We arrived late at night just as restraint was closing but reception rang ahead and made sure a table was laid for us and food left available. Indeed reception staff were wonderful throughout always a smile and a joke.
The restaurants and buffet facilities are wonderful, plentiful, varied and good food. We paid for the All Inclusive plus which does mean all inclusive, almost everything including cocktails at night. They also had, important for us a good variety of non alcoholic cocktails.
Again a special mention for someone Fabiolla in the buffet restaurant. Always smart, helpful a delight and so caring, asking both my wife and I where the others were when we were too unwell to eat.
The pools are very large with a plentiful suppl of sunbeds and shades. My only comment would be that the surface of pool once in the water is a bit slippery, but this is in the pool.
The private beach is small and not sand but pebbles and can be difficult to get into but is quiet with a real charm.
Note, the hotel shop sell great value slipper shoes for the beach and they were well worth the investment getting into the sea.
The hotel Spa was a delight and, booking a massage on our first full day meant a really good discount and the massage was a real treat. Again if you like a massage so worth it.
The hotel, everywhere is spotless, airy and a joy to be around. The staff work so hard to keep it this way.
Rhodes town itself has a bus service 5 mins from the hotel. However as one of the last stops before Rhodes be aware these busses can get very full and just drive past when full. Opposite there is a taxi area where 12 Euros gets you into Rhodes and all the drivers are friendly. Grab another couple and it means a taxi is a cheap as the bus!
I don't know what else to add except to thank all the staff for everything and the fact I can write such a review despite being unwell shows how good it was.

We have had a fantastic stay at Kresten Royal now the first week of October. The hotel has everything you can expect and can be strongly recommended. Great facilities and an incredibly nice structure where most rooms have a great view over the sea. Both pool areas are super fine, and the best of all is that there was always a sun bed available, and no one who reserved beds from the morning off with putting on towels. The food at Kresten is impeccable, and the best we have ever experienced of all all inclusive hotels we have visited before. Something for everyone and an incredibly large selection of both dining dishes, salads and not least desserts and cakes. In addition, there is a good offer of burgers, sandwiches, pizza and pita throughout the day in the pool bar at the saltwater pool which was also tasty and greatly arranged. In addition to a great spa, nice outdoor areas, terraces and bars, you have everything you need here. But if you want to experience something else, you can take a taxi to Rhodes city (about 18 euros) as there is nothing special happening in the surrounding area. The very best of Kresten is everyone at the hotel who is incredibly dedicated to their guests and stands on to give their guests a great stay. A great staff who has understood that a smile is always free, and who seems genuinely happy and busy with their guests. Ergo Kresten Royal 10/10 Top score!!

Came here for our honeymoon, and what an experience. The place is absolutely fantastic and from the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with nothing but professionalism!
We booked the suite with a private pool, and it definitely made the overall holiday! We were able to relax by the pool! The other pools were great! And with all inclusive you were never too far from your next drink.
The cleaning staff were so friendly, they would enter the room with smiles and always wanting to have a conversation.
The only downside, was that the pools are freezing cold (except the one inside pool) which I can imagine however, in the middle of summer would be amazing! Once you got into the pool, you do get used to the temperature.
We were also randomly called on our phone in the room at 3am! We did let reception know and they weren’t quite sure where it came from.
The food was fantastic, although after a few days it did start getting quite repetitive, but they have the option to go to other restaurants. You do have to pay for the wine in these restaurants, which is something we didn’t realise!
We did arrive quite late on the Saturday night, and were told that there was a snack bar in the main restaurant. When we went to have a look it was closed, and we weren’t able to get any food that evening.
We did go back to find the snack bar at 10pm but couldn’t locate it, so wasn’t quite sure if it was open.
The mini supermarket is great, but just be warned it is quite expensive, but it has everything you could possibly want in so it’s really ideal!
The drinks and the bar staff were fantastic. They get to know you and after a few days they knew what our drink choices were! They even made my husband a completely different drink that wasn’t on the menu! If you are to try anything, you must try the pina coladas!!
Overall, it was an unforgettable honeymoon, and we are excited to come back next year!

First, it's a very nice hotel but I don't believe they deserve a 5 star rating due to some details that you would not expect in a 5 star hotel.
The room was okay, but for having stayed in a junior suite we would expect much more of the room. It was very poorly cleaned, for example: our daughter had spilled some popcorn during the first days, this remained on the floor for nearly a week which is rather unacceptable when you stay in a 5 star hotel. Also the bathroom was very badly maintained, the shower bar had mold on it which they didn't clean. Also it was in a very bad shape and we had to call the reception to fix the shower during our stay, they did do this right away but in a 5 star hotel you would expect them to make sure all is in perfect condition. When walking bearfoot in the room, your feet would have sand and dirt even just after the cleaning was done. The bed also had stains on the covers, was badly made up and the sofabed is really too small for 2 children to sleep on. The view from the room was amazing though, our daughter even spotted dolphins right from the room having view on the sea which is very exceptional.
As to the location, it's rather calm and far from the touristic places (no walking distance). You don't really have any shops in the immediate surrounding and need to take a bus or taxi to reach any shops or restaurants. It's not really far though and the connections are okay. It's very nice to have a small beach area at the hotel with a very beautiful area to snorkle.
The service in the hotel is very good, this does meet the service you would expect in a 5star hotel. I do also want to strongly highlight 1 employee (Manos), working at the swimming pool bar, he truly makes the difference and not having him would be a loss to the hotel. Truly recommend to make sure he stays and never leaves your hotel! These types of persons make guests return.
As to food, the food is delicious and the buffet has many different choices. Very good quality and diversifying. The staff in the restaurant is also very friendly and helpful.
Overall the hotel is a great place to stay but in our opinion (having stayed in many 5 star hotels before), they are a very good 4 star hotel, not 5 star.

We were helped to our room as it was late ,offered food and drink so was such a lovely start , the room was a Terrace with amazing view of the pool and sea. We had the best sleep , very quiet rooms and comfy beds cleaned every day . air con was amazing. We woke in the morning, breakfast was just wow!! So much choice and always greeted by the staff and shown to your table . Sun beds were always available but were hogged quite a lot and weren’t seen for half the day. Lunch at the pool restaurant was amazing so much choice . Cocktails were also lovely and they would accommodate if there was something you wanted . The main restaurant had so much choice and different theme nights so each night was different and the deserts were absolutely delicious and the restaurant staff were amazing and so polite nothing was too much trouble right down to clearing the tables , they worked so hard , Wine was also very palatable. Al a carte is once a week and stunning . There was a bbq night you could book but was not all inclusive which I did find odd the wasn’t cheap. The evening entertainment was good but could never get a seat . So we just took in the amazing view and lovely cocktails and the great bar staff . I had my favourite Petros but they were all fantastic , they can mix a lovely drink. The car hire in the reception Rhodos cars are very good and reasonable and helpful. The pool areas were cleaned at 7 in the morning but never heard them only knew as my hubby is an early riser. Private pebble beach is very quiet but you need some beach shoes as it’s hard to walk on the pebbles and rocks in the sea. Only let down was too much pressure from the spa staff it got a bit much and far too expensive. I would 100% recommend the Kresten royal I will definitely return . Thank you for a luxury holiday . Caroline and Mark

"Ask for ice to chill wine and water.
For those who don't know, the Greek government have a tourist tax of 10 euros per room per night. We already knew this but others may not "
