I thoroughly enjoy this hotel and have been a repeat guest multiple times. The cleanliness is impeccable, the rooms are modern and tastefully designed, and the service is consistently outstanding. Stayed in 1 bedroom premier for 3 nights Hotel/apartment is well maintained and hotel website pictures are almost what you will get. Staff are still helpful yet busy. The wood feeling in the room is minimalistic and very good design. It has a muji (Japan brand) vibe. The rooftop bar view is good. The ambience and crowd is just right, not too little not too much. Coffee at the lemon salt cafe is simple and good. Service is good. Location is good to travel out (before 2pm) to cafes and come back after 8pm (avoid heavy traffic) Before the stay, I was worried about the noise, but it turned out fine. The noise levels at night is very mild (imagine a soft bass) as this is canggu area with many Popular beach clubs. I will tend to believe that the Low star reviews might be due to the sensitivity to noise. Light sleepers and sensitive noise people are NOT recommended to stay here/canggu beach area. Do take note that activities are moving towards canggu that is a lovely and lively area.
For the price (depending on the room), I highly recommend this place as it is definitely worth.

Clean sheets, great shower. Staff was very professional, helpful and welcoming. Most of all, it felt so safe! Coming from an Airbnb villa with no security we welcomed the security and convenience at citadines. It’s also wonderful that they refill your water every day from the water dispenser down the hallway

This pet friendly hotel is one of the reasons we wanted to stay a night in here with our lovely poodle, and this was our first time ever staying in a hotel with our dog. This is a brand new hotel right in the corner of Berawa in a quiet neighborhood so it's perfect if you want to escape from the bustling and noisy Seminyak or Kuta. It's very close to Berawa Beach, Finns Beach Club, the Tamora Gallery shopping arcade and several cafes and restaurants around Berawa.
We stayed in room 2140 in the middle building. The room is a studio type with a well equipped kitchen which has an electric stove, a microwave, sink, cooking appliances, cutleries as well as glass and chinaware so it's perfect for long term stay. The balcony is wide and we had a view towards the pool at the back (ignore the creepy unfinished building next door), very good for relaxing. Overall the room is quite spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. We and our dog had no issues sleeping at night so it's very comfortable.
Make sure to head over to the rooftop pool where the ocean view is great. We really loved it! There's also a rooftop pool where we ordered our free welcome drinks, and there was a live music playing in the evening. The sky lounge at the back is also enjoyable. Didn't try the "Lemon & Salt" restaurant since breakfast wasn't included in our stay, but it seems nice when I checked there a bit.
There's also a free laundry room (make sure to bring your own detergent) as well as fitness room on the ground floor. Since this is a pet friendly hotel, there will be a pet playground at the back building which is to be open by next year. Would love to check that out someday.
My only complaint here was after check-in. We had to wait nearly 45 minutes after we checked in at 12 in the afternoon to ensure that our room was ready. This was a bit annoying as it was hot at that time and we had a dog so I had to bring him out of the lobby to get some fresh air while waiting for our room. Unfortunately the staffs didn't informed us in advance so one of us decided to complain to the reception. We finally got in to our room shortly after that. At least the staff apologized.
Overall this is an excellent hotel, and highly recommended considering the location, amenities and the friendliness of the staff. Definitely will come back here again if the pet playground has open!

1. Bathroom was dirty when we first checked in, found hair and mildew in the bathroom 2. Tissue box was empty 3. Bed was very hard 4. Shower gel bottle was not refilled. First time visiting Citadines Berawa, the hotel is only a stone throw away to Berawa Beach, the building is hard to miss. Upon arrival they gave us coupons to enjoy welcome drink at the rooftop bar, and wow I love it! A bar and rooftop swimming pool with almost 360 degrees view! They have a latin dance event when I went there, and I think it is a regular program from the hotel.
The room has a kitchenette which help us a lot when we want to cook or reheat our takeout food. It also provide a small refrigerator so our beers are always cold! AC is also cold, a necessity in hot and humid Bali.
Going out to the balcony in the morning and sip a cup of hot tea is a plus (please ask for room with view to garden or the one not facing to neighbor)
I love the rain shower, the water pressure is good and importantly hot water is also stable.
And a major advantage staying in this hotel is the laundrette, all guests can use it for free, you only need to bring your own detergent and softener.
Kudos to all staff from the security to housekeeping that were always very helpful when we need extra assistance.
Definitely will come back again!

Comfort place to stay. Very good service. Nice room hotel. The place's not messy at all. Love to stay at here. The fitness center's also very clean. They have new tools. They have free refill for mineral water so we don't have to buy it from outside.

Good value accommodation that is well kept. The bedroom we stayed in was comfortable but small. The bathroom was very cramped, you had to squeeze up against the basin to be able to open and shut the door. We had someone ring our doorbell at 9pm and proceeded to open our door. We thankfully had the door latched so they could not open it far. When I called reception they thought it might have been a staff member coming to clean the room but were unsure. It is about a half an hour walk to a happening part of canngu where there are shops and restaurants. However it is a fantastic spot if you want to be close to Finns Beach club and a quiet spot on the beach.

Bali airport is chaos. queue to show covid pass, queue to buy a visa £27pp, queue for passport control, queue to fill in a form showing names and number in party! Private transfer took one and a half hours due to traffic. When you arrive the reception team are full of smiles. We had two rooms booked A studio and an executive studio (which cost more). They are absolutely identical, 100% the same. DO NOT pay extra. When we mentioned this to reception. we were moved to the top floor, again an identical room! The rooms are spotlessly clean, fridge, safe, tea/coffee etc, hairdryer. A decent shower and toiletries.. Breakfast 7am -11am, a good selection of food. Not the best organised but the willingness of the staff makes up for it. The hotel is surrounded by filth. Everywhere is dirty. We walked to the nearby beach. Greeted by piles of stinking rotting rubbish. A beach full of nappies, needles, bottles etc. No excuse, we visited 5 years ago, it was the same! The hotel is in a very noisy area. Construction everywhere, traffic, dogs howling night and day, doors slamming. Bring your ear plugs. you will need them! Lots of cafes/ restaurant's within walking distance, all nestled among the rubbish. All in all a lovely hotel, shame about the rest!!

For a view, request highest floor. There is an amazing view from the swimming pool. Just ask for a beach view room, however there are no guarantees in life.
There are more places to choose from in the Tibubeneng area.
