Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Albatres Palace Hotel last week for a couple of days. The hotel was really nice and modern with very friendly staff. We arrived in the night and got a bit lost, the gentlemen on reception was really helpful and waited for us to arrive by standing outside. Our room was an amazing size, very clean and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable with a really nice shower, with a balcony! The hotel has beaches quite near to the hotel but it's a drive away. We visited the beaches of Gallipoli more as they were nicer and had beautiful towns surrounding.

We stayed here 1 night with our room and little balcony on the 1st floor overlooking a busy road. Thought it would be noisy but we slept very well. The room is quite small. It was raining so we couldn't use the swimming pool - it was being cleaned anyway. We didn't dine at any of the nearby restaurants but walked down the road to a supermarket for some healthy salad food which we ate at the hotel table in the courtyard. The breakfast buffet is normal Italian fare. Good to see fresh fruit and only a couple of cakes! The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

I had a single room on the first floor. It was spotless and kept spotless. And toasty warm when outside was rather cool - January and February are their cold months! This is a small town and it took maybe ten minutes to walk into the centre. The staff gave genuine advice re restaurants etc.Clearly this is different in summer when it's really busy but I can't imagine the staff could ever be anything but 'Simpatico' The breakfast lacked excitement but did exactly what it said on the tin. Their restaurant was otherwise closed, but Reception made me a toastie when I couldn't be bothered to go out.

This hotel is brand new and remarkably clean. I was there in September and so I was able to find a great price online. I am not sure I would have been so satisfied with the place had I been charged their official room rate. My room was pleasant and large enough, but the swimming pool is really small, and so is the sundeck, so you can't count on relaxing outside once you're back from your day trip. Although I would certainly go back for a short stay at a bargain price, I think the owners have to do more if they want to attract a 4-star-L clientele. Breakfast was good enough but definitely poor for an ambitious hotel like this one. It wouldn't cost much to improve the quantity - and the quality - of the options. And the fact that you have to pay if you want an espresso coffee instead of the mediocre brew you find in the breakfast room is simply ridiculous. 4 stars? come on. on the bright side: the staff was nice and helpful.
