We absolutely loved Masseria Zambardo. The grounds are breathtaking. It's a little off the beaten path but it's totally worth it. The breakfast was really delicious. They will make you whatever coffee your heart desires and even made us fresh eggs! All of the fruit is from their gardens and fruit trees, the cakes are all home made and the jams are delicious! Fresh squeezed juices and grapes right off the grape vines you are eating under. The pool was really incredible and we loved relaxing there so much. They gave us recommendations in the next town we were visiting. Before our stay, Masseria Zambardo coordinated with us a coursed dinner at their sister Masseria. If you are trying to find the dinner place on Google maps, you will not find it! Follow the instructions by the staff and you will find it! Even in the darkness! We did :) and it was the most delicious meal! Even though we didn't speak Italian, we had a perfect relaxing vacation and were able to communicate with the staff!…
Loved this charming Masseria located amongst Olive trees. Wonderful hosts and kitchen staff. Breakfast was great, fresh and very tasty. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. My only complaint was there were no mirrors in the second bedroom and nowhere to hang clothes. I would definitely recommend this place.
The owner, staff and surroundings make this place absolutely charming. The grounds are lovely and the included breakfast is amazing. The room/apartment was very clean and spacious, with a kitchen, and the staff was very accommodating when we had last minute guest come stay with us. The only negative comment I have was the shower drain didn’t work very well but other than that it was a perfect experience.
What a delight to be able to swim in a beautiful pool surrounded by lavender and to enjoy a delicious breakfast on a terrace overlooking the pool. We enjoyed our 2 night stay including a relaxed dinner at the neighbouring Masseria (though transport was a little difficult). Makes a good base for exploring Lecce, Otranto and the surrounding areas if you have a car.
You should not miss this place with a lot of charme. Cozy rooms, incredible breakfast with fresh products, cheese, salami, gem made by the last owner, fresh juices and fruits, olive trees, beautiful flowers, peaceful. Make sure you go there!!
