Pleasant restaurant with attentive service. Food was ok, though somewhat basic. I thought that the pasta course was a little too al dente; other courses nothing exceptional. House wine good and carafes of both still and fizzy water given as standard was a nice touch.

Very nice swimming-pool, nice environment, well equipped mini bar,entertaining music, restaurant service food, nice sun beds with a lots of in-shadow places. Swimming pool very nice and safe also for little kids, good prices. On Saturdays very few visitors so easy to find free places. On Sundays overcrowded.

I accidentally went to San Vito dei Normanni for three days . I checked in in Oasi del Visit because it was the first i found on my way . I paid less than i got from it , The location is very good, my room was very spacy , and the whole establishment was more than clean . I met nice friendly people , very willing to serve and help me . I m looking forward to my next trip around , to stay in this hotel

We stayed here with family for a wedding and could not have imagined a worse hotel to have stayed at. Primarily down to Adriana who was obnoxious, unwelcoming, insulting and just overall disrespectful. She had messed up our booking months before check in date as the bride had reserved rooms for her guests - only to find that Adriana had given these rooms away to a larger Italian family also celebrating a wedding - which was requested after our reservations. We arrived and was given a different room to the one we had booked. She completely made us feel like we were pulling a fast one and that our confirmation was incorrect. The evening restaurant also was disappointing as we were advised that the pizza oven could not be turned on for less than 15 people booking and they needed 1 days notice!! They also served me what I thought was a spaghetti bolognese however made with pork and not beef which they failed to tell me. Only after questioning the waiter he had advised that the chef unfortunately said they had run out of beef so decided to use pork instead. On check out we were faced with obnoxious Adriana again who's face I will never forget! She is clearly in the wrong job and should not be front of house! She told us that the fee to pay for the room was more than our confirmation had stated. She makes no eye contact with paying customers and is not grateful for the tourism we bring to her country. Because of her we left with a very sour taste of Italy and will never recommend this hotel to anybody. On the plus side - the lady working at the cafe every morning was the most polite and friendly woman at the hotel. A few more like her could quite possibly make this hotel a nice place to stay. We are absolutely shocked that this hotel has managed to make a 7/8 on trip advisor!! Surely should be a 8! Lucky for us the wedding was not held at the hotel and was beautiful!…

Myself and my wifstayed here for 4 nights while visiting family. we were allocated a room in the 'main block' above the function room. check in was easy enough but English language is limited. were were shown to our room above the loudest music party I have ever heard, and it was only 4pm! luckily anough we went out and whan we returned at midnight the noise had stopped, this noise did not occur again during our stay, luckily!... the pool and breakfast area were a few mins walk from our room, there seem to be some nice chalets etc around the pool area. the pool is clean and good, breakfast was decent enough and continental, lots of Italian cakes, pastries, cheese, meat, coffee, fruit juice etc. our room was clean, decent bathroom, good effective aircon that was not turned off the minute you left the resort, so another plus for that. room could have been better decorated, bed was slightly firmer than we like and the pillows were continental and firm. there was a decent working fridge in the room too. our issues came when it was checkout time ( and im led to believe that we are not the first) the machine that takes the bank cards was not working well, ? signal. so... despite our transport waiting to take us to the airport we had to go to dan vito by car to cashpoint to get cash. I paid cash, took my receipt. on arrival in uk I checked my account, and the money for the room was pending withdrawal from my uk account! despite cash having already been paid. I made about 4 calls to Italy (at my own expense) and was passed from pillar to post with seemingly less English being spoken, I was even hung up on at one point!. I phoned my own bank and they assured me the problem would be sorted and they indeed sorted it but not without much worry at this end. so all in all the resort let themselves down with my latter points im sorry to say.…
