Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Might be a bit of an exagerration but it would be hard to beat it. Run by Reg Turner as a boutique BandB Song of the Tui is worth a stay if you want to pamper yourself a bit in beautiful and remote surroundings. From the two double rooms there are stunning views of Parapara Mountain and Kurahangi National Park. You can even bathe outside in an open air bath and watch the view if you want! Reg does not advertise and relies on word of mouth - if you are in the area and can plan ahead then seek out Song of the Tui - you won't be disappointed.

I wish to thank all the guests who have enjoyed this special lodge set in the mountain valley of the Aorere River, and overlooking the scenery as viewed in the films Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit

Absolute aanrader!
