David’s Beachhouse is located on a private beautiful white sand beach. The views from the room are absolutely stunning and you were right on the water when you open your doors. It is truly magical to hear the ocean waves as you fall asleep and wake up in the morning. Mary the general manager is an absolute sweetheart, and she was incredibly helpful before we arrived to assist in helping us book a return flight to the mainland as the ferry we were supposed to take, stopped running. She connected us with someone from the airlines and insured we had everything figured out prior to arriving. Mary was a LIFeSAVER and always ensured we had everything we needed and she also coordinated a full day boat trip with an amazing tour guide Damo ( who is a funny , gregarious awesome boat driver and tour guide) to go to the Tobago cays where we swam with turtles and stingrays, and had an amazing lunch by the ocean. We then took the speedboat to multiple other islands and ended up unhappy island, enjoying rum punch, while watching the beautiful sunset, and it was all on our timeline. It was the most magical amazing day! The food at the resort was absolutely delicious. We had breakfast lunch and dinner there and the crapes were phenomenal for dessert. The breakfast omelette and mahi mahi were spectacular as well. Our entire experience at David’s beach house was purely magical, and I would highly recommend the hotel, and we’ll go back in a heartbeat.

We loved it here. Good Wi-Fi and AC. Mary and her team were so friendly and helpful in every way. Food was decent and chef friendly. The two local dogs, Milo and Coffee were adorable. They love the beach as much as we did. In the end though, it’s all about that spot of paradise. Perfect sand, perfect calm clear water and immense views of mountains and valleys to the left. I’ll dream about it! My only suggestion is that it’s time to get new firm mattresses and the rooms could use a bit of a spiffing up. Thank you David’s! We can’t wait to return!

While swimming at Sparrow’s, we saw this cute hotel next door and decided to check it out. After a tour by the owner, Ken, we decided to skip the ferry back to Bequia and spend the weekend. What a great choice! Walk a few feet from your room into the warm sea. Stunning turquoise water views on a beautiful white powder sand beach. Chef Keith prepared the most delicious upscale local-food meals for us all weekend long. Curry conch, Red snapper with plantains, conch ceviche on a puff pastry, and so much more… all with 5-star presentation too. Yummy and pretty! Wait staff was friendly and helpful too. Rooms are large, have a sitting room, and a balcony. We appreciated the nice robes and turtle towel folded art. Fantastic weekend and hospitality. Highly recommend staying here during your visit to Union Island!

Our family of six took three rooms at David’s Beach hotel for three nights. We absolutely loved our stay and definitely hope to return. The beach is immaculate and the water crystal clear. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Excellent WiFi and Air con. The views from the balconies are amazing. The rooms could do with a little refresh but I understand from Mary that this is scheduled to happen this year and we found them perfectly fine anyway. Mary and her team are extremely warm and welcoming - we were greeted with cold towels and a fruit drink on arrival and even enjoyed some home baking on a couple of days. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Mary even prepared breakfast for us before 6am one day as we were heading out on a fishing trip. We ate dinner at Sparrows Beach next door but a fixed menu was available at David’s Beach otherwise.

My wife and I spent two glorious weeks at David's Beach Hotel. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, Mary (Hotel Manager) was there to ensure our every need was taken care of. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful unobstructed view of the beach and ocean from our deck. All of our meals were served in the lovely beach side restaurant and reflected local Caribbean cuisine and fresh produce.
Everything is quite close and we were able to walk to town and hike around the whole island. We always felt comfortable around town and all the locals we met were very friendly.
It is very easy to travel to the other small islands by water taxi or ferry. One of our most enjoyable day trips was hiking over to Chatham Bay for lunch and returning by water taxi. Mary was always available to assist with any question, reservations, taxi, etc. We enjoyed several local restaurants for fresh fish, lobster, pizza, etc. Also, we really loved the rum punch cocktails at Sparrow's Bar a short walk down the beach. We plan to return someday soon.

This is a beautiful place situated on a gorgeous sandy beach. The hotel staff are absolutely lovely and can't do enough to help you and make your stay enjoyable. We loved the availability of the free kayaks and the location of the hotel next to Sparrows beach bar added to the enjoyment. It's an easy 15 minute walk to Clifton where the ferries come in and there are numerous bars and restaurants.

Just returned from a fantastic 5 night stay at David’s Beach Hotel - the perfect mix of pampered authenticity to help time slow down in a way that makes you want to plan your next visit.

Location: An easy 15 min walk from the airport (5 min drive) looking north and west for the perfect sunset.

Beach: Perfectly manicured white sand protected by a jetty and next to Sparrow’s beach bar. Excellent chairs and large shaded palapas. You literally walk out your door to the beach.

Rooms: equipped with a wet bar and sitting area. Comfortable beds. AC. Internet in the rooms. Very quiet. Basic and functional.

Restaurant: excellent section (remember you’re in the islands) and the chef is fantastic. Great way to meet other guests and perfect if you’d like to eat every night at the hotel or jump to a local hangout. Room service option.

Staff: outstanding! Mary, Ava, Petra and others made the stay so comfortable, warm and kind. Great service and thoughtful attention to details.

This hotel is top notch and functional. It felt like you were in someone’s home while still having your space. Made some amazing new friends along the way!

Will be back - and it’s with the plane or boat ride over. See photos.

This is a small hotel right on a beautiful beach that offers amazing privacy and tranquility. You will be one of only a few guests and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Meals are served on an open-air dining patio to the sounds of waves lapping on the beach only a few feet away. Rooms are basic but extremely clean and very comfortable with a separate living room and beachfront balconies. Mary the manager lives on-site and is always ready to assist in arranging tours or taking care of special needs or requests. If you are looking for a resort full activities, then David's Beach Hotel (and Union Island itself!) are probably not for you. But if you want to get away from it all with snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding at your fingertips, then this will be your little slice of paradise. For a change of pace, Sparrows restaurant and beach bar are next door. The main village is about 20 minutes walk and has many restaurants and bars catering to visiting yachts.

Be warned ahead of time with who you're dealing with here. The hotel and/or previous manager absconded with a $6500.00 deposit for 7 rooms booked months ago. The booking no longer exists after plans for 13 family members were scheduled. Both the hotel and the ex-manager blame each other. Neither are forthcoming with info on the current hotel's owner even after repeated requests. If you book with this hotel you are risking much.

This guest never stayed at David’s Beach Hotel. The person was, unfortunately, mislead into thinking that a reservation was made with a person representing David’s Beach Hotel, when that was not the case. Travelers should never trust anyone asking them to make a bank wire to a personal bank account to pay for a hotel stay. Instead, pay with your credit card, so you can track the payment.

We had an absolutely great time on our vacation at the David’s Beach Hotel. The property is beautiful and well kept and right on the beach. Perfect for relaxation. The rooms are just few steps away from the calm sea which is great for swimming. The property also has kayaks and boards. Mary, the manager of the property was very professional, knowledgeable with good mannerisms and always ready to help and elevate our experience to the next level. She booked a boat tour for us and helped with taxis and basically with all our needs. The hotel staff was also very attentive and helpful. We also enjoyed the food that was always delicious and adjusted to our preferences. And for the 5 days we spent there the menu was never repeated. While we have seen only 2-3 mosquitoes during our stay, there were sand flies. However, they were taken care of with mosquito spray. Overall, it was a very good vacation with beautiful long lasting memories.

We stayed there in early 2019 and it wasn’t in very good condition. I was told they were planning on either selling it or doing some remodeling.

For families we have 2 interconnected Beachfront Suites, that should work well for you. When you are ready to visit, just email us and request 2 interconnected Suites, then we can check for availability, since not all Suites are interconnected. Regarding the pool, we currently have no plans of installing a pool. We are located directly on the beach, and the sea by the hotel is varm and calm, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
