Tony and Brigitte, were very friendly and helpful , always with a smile 😃 and ready to listen. Park was spotless. Their kitchen had pots, pans, everything you requested. There was dish washing liquid, sponge and brushes to wash dishes with. They have nice wooden tables outside of the kitchen, great place to catch up with other campers. Walking distance from everything. I'll definitely stay there again on my way back from the North Island Take care Kay
We stayed in a small cabin with queen bed. Had small kitchenette with all cutlery crockery, all bed linen supplied, jug and toaster. Was perfect for a weekend away and great rates per night. No ensuite but that didnt bother us at all. What did bother us was the really HARD bed. Had sore backs and was not a good nights sleep at all. Spoilt a great weekend. Would probably think twice before staying again in that bed.
Great stay here for 4 nights in caravan. Tony is good fun and welcomes you to their friendly park. Love the camp set up. Kitchen big & roomy and showers warm. Everything was clean & tidy. Sites are adequate. Council have built good playground, toilet block, carpark and skate park right next door with easy access. We stayed over Easter period and was busy but could imagine parking being tight in summer months. Will definitely return and encourage others to visit too. Thanks for a lovely stay in your well cared for park.
Very easy going and helpful people. Clean facilities and just overall good vibe. Cool little town to visit, with a nice pub or two. Great place for fishing and close to the harbor and facilities, Cheers guys hope to see you again soon
Havelock is a great little place with an excellent camping ground. Site and facilities are clean and well maintained. Four Square, and places to eat within a few minutes walk. A minor criticism is that some of the pitches, whilst long, are quite narrow, which can be awkward if you have inconsiderate neighbours. Would definitely visit again.
Tony and Brigitte are friendly and welcoming. Good and clean facilities. Only stayed one night, but will definitely stay again, and next time for longer. A great base from which to see the area. Fresh mussels close by. :-)
Great stay as always. Very clean and well looked after camping grounds. We stayed in a caravan that was on site and it was clean and warm. Handy to all amenities with a park next to the camping ground, and walking distance to the supermarket and other shops and restaurants and marina.
Easy to find, nice flat sites with concrete strips to park on. Quiet. Excellent facilities, hot showers, clean areas. Cheap cold water wash in laundry only $2. Easy walk into town. Great meal at the Mussel Pot!
Tony and Brigitte are fantastic hosts , very accommodating the campsite facilities are spotless. Our family had a great time despite the inclement weather. The site is an excellent place to base yourself to explore the sounds and the Marlborough vineyards. Mark , Whangaparaoa
Spent two days here, clean facilities, good size kitchen and dinning space. Kids love the playground and outdoor gym. Lovely surroundings and we felt safe and secure. Only issue the wifi worked when it wanted lol
