We had a fantastic time at On The Track. Spud was really welcoming and the lodge is beautiful. Our family had a wonderful time for a couple of days. Highly recommend spending at least a couple of days here, there's so much to do and see.

We had one night here, our overnight stay while walking the Nydia track. We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is individual, spotlessly clean (be prepared for bugs though), very comfortable beds, and lots of bird life around. Showers good and strong. The food was great and the hospitality extremely good. Welcoming and helpful but also plenty of privacy if you want it. It's a lovely place to stay.

A family occasion, 8 of us with ages from 18 to 78! We walked into the lodge from Kaiumu Bay - from arrival at the lodge until we left 2 days later, we were made to feel very welcome. Relaxing vibe in a stunning location, unique and comfy chalets, we were at the same time well looked after yet left with our own space. Great combination of service, sense of freedom, kiwi hospitality and very professional. Adrian and Kayla have it all covered - meticulously clean and well maintained - thank you! We will be back.

Our group of 7 adults stayed a night at the Lodge over Labour Weekend and wish we had booked for longer! Kayla & Adrian manage a stunning property and were incredibly welcoming and efficient. The meal was lovely and the place is spotlesss. Not to be missed, tucked half way along the Nydia track, you will enjoy the quiet beauty of the Lodge and its surrounds.

A slice of paradise! We stayed for two nights, using the local water taxi as transport which uses a jetty with an easy 15 minute walk around the shoreline on a good track. There are various forms of accommodation to choose from with an option to suit everyone. The beds are super comfy and I slept like a log. The lodge is well set up with heaps of seating areas in different parts of the large verandah and gardens, where you can hide away or chat with other guests. The food was amazeballs and plenty for even the most hungry of appetites. You are also able to purchase snacks , soft drinks , etc . The dawn chorus was awesome and the wood pigeons and tuis abundant in the garden. We wished we could stay longer and will be back with a group of friends next time.
