Booked and stayed for one night after our ferry crossing from Wellington. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area. Very comfortable room with private bathroom just across the gallery landing. Lovely breakfast and informative chats with our very friendly hosts. Enjoyed the walk down through the garden to the small landing stage with beautiful views across the Mahakipawa arm of the Pelorus Sound. Interesting small town of Havelock just a few miles away with a few eating places. Had a nice evening meal at The Mussel Pot.

My second stay in 4 years. Just amazing. A bit of a remote location. We had a wonderful evening with Judy and John. And since this is a bit remote it turned out to be a perfect location for stargazing. Not a full round view, but what you can see is mindblowing - see milky way with your eyes only 😊 Looking forward to add this B&B on my next trip to NZ!!! And yes, a nice view to the Pelorus Sound...

Larger room with comfortable bed and window seat with soft pad facing the Sound for an afternoon snooze. Very pleasant grounds and gardens. Easy walk down to the water. John and Judy serve up a simple but tasty breakfast. Very steep drive down to the B&B from Queen Charlotte Dr. Room could be handicapped accessible. This comfortable B&B is more of a homestay with good conversation.
