8al mar is a beautiful b&b with amazing view directly on the beach. Luxurious rooms, comfortable huge terrace, hot tubs and a cosy living room open 24/7. Very nice staff serve a delicious breakfast to your room.
One lovely day and night here. Everything idyllic. Would return in a heartbeat. Free pounding ocean surf, simple and beautifully designed rooms, lovely common room for wine and a book, individual ocean-side decks... I could go on for a long while.
We spent 2 nights at this greatly situated boutique hotel. What you see on their website is exactly you get. We stayed in the Suite Oceano- big open space, ocean at your fingertips for daily walks/runs, breakfast served in your suite daily and very friendly and helpful staff. We left feeling refreshed and energised.
Rooms with a view is an understatement. When the experience is delivered to your room, the ocean, the waves, the sunsets, even the morning MOONSET (my very first sighgting, especially of a full moon), this is unparalleled.
The hospitality, the setting, the entire team, respectful of each guests privacy, makes this a homebase within nature’s very lap. The team organized morning tennis lessons to daily massages, local tips, all customizing as needed along the way.
The surfing here is also unparalleled, I got my very first lesson from superfun, in the very able hands of Emilio Garcia de la Hierta. A must do.
We stayed at '8 Al Mar' for two nights, choosing an Ocean Suite.
This was unquestionably one of the loveliest spots I have ever stayed at.
It is right on the Pacific, with a gate on to the sea shore.
The big ocean waves roll in endlessly and I could have just spent all my time watching them.
There is a magnificent beach within 50 metres, which stretches for miles... '8 Al Mar' is a very unique and tranquil place.
Breakfast comes to your room in a big basket each morning at your chosen time, with fresh juices and fruits, cereals, yoghourts, scrambled eggs, toast, coffee and tea... which you can enjoy on your little private terrace, overlooking the waves.
There is a lovely deck and lounge with an honesty bar for wine and drinks.
Pichelemu might be a little off the beaten tourist trail, but this hotel is a real gem.
Very highly recommended
