We hadn't expected to find ourselves staying at this fine establishment, we booked last minute due to unexpected poor weather on a motorcycle trip. On arrival we were by an extremely friendly, jovial and helpful owner. He could not have done more to make our stay more pleasurable. I had a single room which was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was very good. The town itself is very very quiet with a handful of shops and restaurants, a real get away from it all feel to hotel and town. Looking forward to returning
We arrived after a transatlantic flight and were so glad to see our hotel. The host (Martin) was very welcoming and allowed us to get to our room quickly. Our family room (we had 4 in our party) had more room than we expected. Very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful! Plenty of choices and a great pot of coffee. Martin made us feel like we were family coming for a visit. He recommended things for us to do during the day, and places for us to eat at night. We are already trying to decide if we can get back here again. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed.
You are away from it all here. Very quiet. But, you are still close to some nice restaurants, supermarket, and local attractions. The owner was very helpful about the local attractions and what time of day was best to see each one. The room was comfortable and clean. Only drawback was lack of fans for the bedrooms. Most of the European accomodations that have not moved forward with air conditioning at least have fans for hot days. Overall, it was a great value and a good place to stay.
This is a family run 2-story guest house, which is clean and pleasant. The hosts are very helpful (gave me maps for exploring the area), the wifi connection was fast, and breakfast was great. I stayed in a single room which was small but comfortable.
If you plan to visit some places around Leutasch, such as the Alpenbad hot springs, your reservation to the hotel includes a local visitors card, which gives you, among others, free entry to Alpenbad (worth half the cost of the room).
The hotel is located on a small street right off the main road from Seefeld to Mittlewald, in the small community of Wiedach, just south of the local tourist office. Wiedach is one of the communities in the municipality of Leutasch, which is pretty large. So, once you arrived in the area, look for the street sign for Weidach (and not Leutasch). Overall, this is a great base for doing some mountain hiking and exploring the Leutasch Gorge.
Great pension hotel in the mountains of Austria. Martin, the owner, was extremely friendly and engaging, and genuinely happy to suggest activities in the area. The room was very clean, and the food great!
