Have just returned from staying at this hotel, and its falls very short of the brand standards expected in a Holiday Inn.
Yes the rooms and hotel were clean and up to standard, The Duty Management were quick to sort out problems with parking etc.
Every day we were woken up by the maids in the morning wanting to service our room even with the Do Not Disturb sign on the door!!!
Breakfast was cold or at best luke warm and the breakfast supervisor was rude when we asked for it to be warmed and we had to get the Duty Manager to speak to her to get her to sort the problem out. There seemed to be double standards in the Breakfast Room with Italian guests been offered coffee made to order rather than from the jugs like everyone else. When a colleague asked for the same she claimed not to understand English!! Yet 2 minutes earlier she was issuing orders has to us on what table are group should use. We tried to explain that we were working nights and that hardly any of the group would be do for breakfast.
The internet was slow and kept dropping and in fact we did not use it due to the very poor connectivity.
The is for a business hotel a very poor selection of TV Channels and no foreign language ones, this is the only Holiday Inn I have stayed in where the TV only shows local channels.

I stayed for one night and the room was clean and nice.
The beds were comfy and the people at the reception were polite and nice.
There is a free shuttle service from the hotel to the tube station, and for the way back too.
I do recommend it.

Reasonable for short stay, missed an Iron & a board in the room which is mandatory for business travellers. Breakfast is basic and should be improved, rooms are average size and a bottle of water in the room could be nice to have.

The hotel is absolutely awful. The windows were broken, the third bed was a camp bed, something that wasn't mentioned while we were booking the room. Service was outrageous and the WiFi connection was slower than a grandfather's tractor.

Response from aurora p, Manager at Holiday Inn Milan - Assago
Responded 13 Jan 2019
Good morning Anon_ymous345689, first of all I'm really sorry not to see your name because I could have the possibility to check your reservation and the assigned room. I'm really sorry to read such a review; I can't understand what happened beceuse we didn't have complains about "broken windows" so I don't know if you are speaking of our hotel or maybe another. The third bed, as clearly written in the web site, is a sofa bed. We have written it in the web site. If you want better explain what happend we are here; in this way I can't understand. Thank you Aurora Pippi Resident Manager
