We booked this resort as we had earlier 2-3 times stayed with v-resort and expected the same hospitality but were disappointed , we had booked 5 cottages but the hotel decided to give 5 different styles of cottages and none of them had a clear view of the lake . The rooms are done very nicely and the management is also putting some money to renovate it but still the maintenance level is not up to the mark.
The hotel restaurant is little far from the rooms and it was not convenient for us to go , we had 4 kids and request to just send something for the kids at our room for dinner but they denied .
As we were a big group, we expected good service however both the days we ordered snacks but were served cold. The pool had insects and the floor of the pool was very dirty , two of our friends got allergy from going in the pool . Water bottles /tea & coffee with biscuits were included in our package but the hotel staff did not have information of the same and clearly said no. Any way after calling vresort at Delhi we got tea/coffee without biscuits but still water bottles were supplied to few rooms. One of our friends had to actually argue for the same and the list goes on ...
I think V-resorts has started doing marketing and sales tie-up with other business owners to sell the room due to there goodwill in the market and satisfied customers but it will not work for long time as when the customers don't get the expected service and quality, they will not return like us .
Overall I will say that we will not recommend this property during rush time as we had gone during 15th Aug holidays , as the ambiance and styling of the hotel is very good one can go during non-rush periods . The hotel also has large grounds , swings etc for kids and good games at the restaurant .
They have space, location is also good and if someone just invests some time in this , they can make a huge difference in the experience of the customers .
Room Tip: Try to take rooms near to the pool , as the restaurant is near from there
