Its hard to imagine as you sit there. If you are on a sun lounger on the grass looking away from the pool (south) its like you are in the middle of no-where - not a sound, just hills and the 'in ground' fruit trees to look at. Turn the sunbed the other way (north) - you can make out Sidari beach and touristy watersport offerings whilst viewing the mysterious Albanian hills set across the sea. Take a walk from the apartments own grounds and within 2 minutes there is a fully stocked (slightly overpriced) 'Alexander' supermarket to the left, and on the right the entertaining (if not cheesy) 'Fever' bar complete with '4 Euro' cocktails a very reasonable local beer offer at 2 Euro 50 and nightly entertainment after 22.00! Take a further 7 minute walk to the left and you hit the Sidari strip - a half mile offering of Bars Restaurants and yes more cheesy entertainment! The apartments themselves are ran primarily by 2 sisters and a further brother who appears to work every hour god sends elsewhere, extremely hard working - you don't see or meet him, but he fully maintains the grounds during his days off. You wont fail to spot the very charismatic Marianne who manages La Palma along with sister Penelope. Fiercely Greek and passionate, Marianne is always on hand to chat to you about any topic you like! Be it the current olive crisis in Corfu (where restaurants are not allowed to put local produce on tables - despite Corfu being the world leaders!!!!),Politics, Drachma and the European Union, the best local Greek night, the local beers or simply wheres best to eat in Sidari - chatting to this lovely and knowledgeable lady is worth the nightly room rate alone and trust me - one you wont forget! The apartments themselves are set in there own grounds and have the mod cons; aircon, reliable free wifi, mosquito shut out nets blinds and is fully stocked with fridge cooker and utensils. There are no sun bed politics here and the pool is adequately sized and always quiet, whilst we were there. You wont regret booking the La Palma Studios, the previous reviews say it all - however just be mindful that its 2 minutes away from the road and drop off point and in the dark after a hair raising 1 hour 30 minutes coach transfer from Corfu airport at 1am (off an Easyjet flight), we almost didn't find it - such is the seclusion.

I really don't want to say what a great place this is as next time I try to book it will be fully booked. Apartment we have was a double and 2 singles. Spacious with all facilities you need and most of all really clean. The staff are always about run by 2 sisters and mama, what great friendly family they are and filled with plenty information in the area. The pool and grounds are well kept and views from certain apartments are breath taking, room 1 has 2 balconies 1 facing the sea and the other facing the pool and grounds. We will be back

I can not begin to say what lovely owners, they treat you like one of the family. I am so great full they had an available apartment after our disarterous start to our hols, however when we got here we had only left our passports in the other place. Penelope went all out to get them back for us, she’s a star, thanks boyfriend. The place was so relaxing. Pool fantastic. We had a small room which Penelope kept apologising for but didn’t,t need to as had great vibe, Katrina and Amiga also friendly let’s not forget mama. Definitely coming back along with the other repeat offenders.

Just left from a fabulous stay at La Palma apartments Corfu. What can I say-amazing! Marianna and her family were more than welcoming to my sister and I from the day we arrived to the day we left. The grounds around the apartments are fabulous; a lovely pool with plenty or sun beds surrounding it, or relaxing hammocks in a lush green grass area. You're spoilt for choice :) The apartments themselves are spotless. Very modern and comfortable. The bedroom, kitchen/dining area and bathroom were all very cosy. They say the little things make a big difference when on holidays and I can't but mention how grateful we were for the (complementary) high speed wifi (all over the complex) and the powerful air conditioning (an absolute life saver). The location of the apartments is a 2 minute walk from all the bars and restaurants and Marianna and her family are very helpfully in advising on which ones to pick. All in all I cannot fault La Palma apartments, it's such a pity our stay had to come to an end!
We will most definitely be back 😊
Thank you for everything.

After staying in many hotels and apartments of similar price over the past two months in Greece, this was the worst.
Our room was dark, hot and pokey.
This was the smallest bathroom we have seen.
The air conditioning turned off anytime we opened the door and did not turn on when we closed the door again but had to be reset each time which was really annoying.
The nearby beach was not very nice.
On a lighter note, the pool looked clean.
I would not recommend this accommodation and would not stay there again even if it was free.
