Struttura nuova, pulitissima e tranquilla. Possibile fare attività sportive, nuotare nel lago o in piscina.
The facility is new, super clean and quiet. It's possible to do outdoor activities, to swim in the lake or in the pool.
What a great site. We had a lake view safari tent with euro camp which unfortunately flooded a little in the epic thunder storms thankfully only the living area. Only negative really was how noisy the site was people up partying till gone 1 most nights running around so we didn't get much sleep. We used the free canoe which was great fun. Swimming pool and kids bit great but quite cold. Park good for all ages. Facilities clean and tidy and the towns around were great. Highly recommend this site.
Small site, pitches under trees and most were well delineated, with hedges/shrubs. Great views over Lake Idro and the water was crystal clear and enjoyable for a swim (even with thunder around the mountains!) There was a small pool which was fine as it wasn't busy at the beginning of June. Good cafe/restaurant where we had a pleasant meal. Well appointed shower block but it was a long walk from much of the site and the other block was awaiting an upgrade. A peaceful and quiet stay.
Probably based in the most scenic area we've ever stayed in, however we had just come from a large campsite (which was silent at night) and coming here expected a very peaceful few days. Although it was in the day for 5/6 of our nights we could hear music going on until around 11.30 which was very surprising, likewise there is no policing of noise on the campsite so some people managed to keep up half the campsite. Also the pool was tiny but the lake was nice to swim in.
Surf school is also an experience and would recommend for one day although the whole week course is probably too much.
Toilet blocks were generally alright although one was a bit dirty.
Overall though a good campsite and a nice end to our holiday.
(P.s make sure to stick to main roads the ones in the mountains are a bit scary + maybe earplugs just in case)
We stayed here recently in a Eurocamp caravan which was fine and we managed with our 3 kids sleeping in one room (they're only 2 bedroomed vans, we usually book the 3 bed ones but were keen to come to this site). Mike from Eurocamp is great, very helpful suggesting activities to do in the local area. The campsite is peaceful and the lake is lovely, beautiful mountains. We swam, paddle boarded in the lake and our eldest son did a wind-surfing course. The lakeside beach is pebbly so you will need neoprene style wet shoes. If you like nature and getting away from it all this is the place for you. There are local walks directly from the campsite. The boat trip round the lake is reasonably priced for 7 euros and takes 1 hr 30 mins to cover the whole lake. We decided the canyoning and via feretta was asking a bit much of our 8 year old but would love to come back when he is older (12/13) to do these activities. The nearest village Crone has everything you need, a little supermarket and a super fruit and veg shop. The drive from Milan was about 2 hours ok on motorway but a bit daunting once you are on the mountain roads going through tunnels and facing crazy motorbikes!! I was a bit of a wreck when we arrived. If that kind of driving doesn't faze you then you'll be fine. We had good weather overall. This is the mountains so expect thunderstorms, lighting and a bit of rain. Local Italians humoured my poor Italian ordering sliced meat, cheese in the local supermarket and ordering food, drinks etc. They seemed to appreciate it as the Germans just speak German! We would love to come back here, it's a truly special place. My kids did miss the slides and bigger swimming pools (the campsite pool is small) but they were well briefed that this was a different holiday and loved being in the lake every day etc.
