I would definitly stay here again. It was a lovely hotel, quiet (on 6 of 7 nights) and the staff were very, very helpful. They allowed a late checkout (6pm!!) At no extra cost. The room was fantastic with 2 balconies... one was very, very large. Lovely breakfasts too... very happy, thank you

Stayed in September with friends. We all liked this little hotel for various reasons. Firstly it’s in a very good location a short walk to the beach with lots of restaurants to hand. We like a beach holiday so this made it the perfect place for us. The room was at at the rear facing the pool and was very quiet at night. Slept really well. The room wasn’t the most modern but had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the breakfast with lots of choice and plentiful which set you up nicely for the day. The staff were very friendly. There is no bar to speak of but you can get a glass of wine or a beer. A glass of wine was just €1.50. There is a supermarket near by where you can fill up a bottle from the barrel and have a nice pre evening drink on the balcony. Overall we were very happy with the hotel, so much so we have booked again for June 2020. Good value for money.

I will start with positive. Nice hotel staff, rooms are clean and spacious
and location of the hotel is convenient.

However this reminded me more of a hostel setting. 2 nights in row it was very loud after midnight. Hotel is not soundproofed so you can hear the door slamming and people opening and closing the doors. On our last night we got bunch of smoke coming into the room as the vents on the balconies were bringing the smoke through bathroom vents. Reception desk addressed it quickly but the whole room smelt like an ashtray for the rest of night. I guess for the price I cant complain but we wont be back.

We’ve been in Kamari for 5 nights.
When we booked for middle of August the spots free in the hotels were already limited but we found Karidis which was the cheapest.
To be honest I was afraid from the 2 stars but once on the place for our surprise it was very nice. We were impressed about the cleanliness of the hotel (and the city in general) and they had a great care for all the details.
Our room (17) was nice and big, with a small balcony and terrace too, where we were able to hang our wet clothes.
There is also a pool with a good view of the mountains.
All the staff was gentle and the breakfast was a buffet with plenty of food.
In my opinion it is better than 2 stars and I’m happy to give 5 to them for their value.

A few minutes walk from the beach and so many tavernas with beautiful food. The room was exactly what we needed when you’re not in there much!
A bed, shower, a safe box, fridge, and most importantly air conditioning!
The small balcony was perfect for before dinner drinks or even just drying your clothes on the little airer outside.
The pool outside was always nice and quiet, perfect for a change from the beach.
I can recommend the taverna directly across the road, Alexander’s and Amalthea for gorgeous and traditional Greek food. The bubble waffles on the corner by the beach were great for a tasty treat. Everything was reasonably priced and as expensive as you made it, just remember that it is a pebble beach so make sure you have sturdy shoes!
Will definitely be going back to this beautiful place :)
