I was assigned here on conference several years ago, and so pleasantly surprised. It's stuck with my memory that we just had to come back for a vacation. Beautifully kept cottages on a point. Quiet and modern property. Pool out of service due to covid-19. Could almost walk, and definitely bicycle to town. Lots to explore in the area. The only downfall is the terrible cell service out on the point in the cottages.

Booked a 3 night stay as part of our trip to the Acadian peninsula. Choosing a cottage from the website is a bit confusing, as there are a lot of cottages set over the property. The site is, predictably, between 2 rivers, and there are a lot of cottages with frontage facing water. These are the desirable cottages. The inner circle of cottages face the driveway. We booked a waterfront cottage and ended up at the very end of the driveway, facing the water, so that the porch faced the water. This offered a great deal of privacy, and decreased the sensation of being in a fairly populated area.
Tracadie Sheila is a good sized town, and the resort is not far from town (walkable- not a short walk, but walkable), we were put off by that initially, but the resort feels more isolated than it really is.
The cottage had a double bed and 2 singles, in 2 bedrooms. The bathroom was full sized with a comfortable sized shower/tub combo. The living/ dining/ kitchen space is large, with comfortable furniture, more like a home than a hotel or typical cottage. There were only two of us, but this would be very comfortable for a family or a group of adults. Full sized appliances make working in the kitchen easy. The kitchen is fully supplied, I doubt there is anything you could need that you wouldn't have provided.
The cottages are spaced nicely, so that there is very little disruption if another cottage is lively. There is a lot of property to walk and explore, and if you are wiling to walk through tall grass, you can walk on the river bank.
We didn't use the pool, but it looked fine and had privacy fencing. We would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed in a room in the hotel, that included breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was updated. We had a beautiful view of the bay. The continental breakfast was very good with waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, etc. it more than met our needs. We did not take advantage of the use of the spa. The pool was closed and it would have been too cold. The lounge at the conference building was open but the entertainment had not arrived so we didn’t stay. I highly recommend this resort!

Stayed here 5 nights 29-9 to 4-10-16 in waterfront cottage #8 - excellent location with nice view of Town of Tracadie across the bay. Parking at door suitable for 2 vehicles. Cottage , fridge & stove all very clean, comfortable furnishings, dining set with 4 chairs, full size fridge, Keurig coffeemaker + 2 K-cups (bring some along as they are sold/VERY EXPENSIVE at the front desk), stove, microwave, toaster, pots & pans, all dishes, cutlery, dish towels, etc. ; 2-bedrooms (one queen bed room & 1 2-twin beds room) both with closets, dressers & mirrors. We had a covered deck just outside the front door, overlooking the water, along with 2 patio chairs & table. Cottages well spaced affording fair amount of privacy, lots of windows on all sides & privacy drapes for nighttime. Gas fireplace but only operational fall to spring season. Reasonably comfortable bed, clean linens & towels. Open concept living/dining/kitchen area so we were able to adequately entertain relatives living in this area. We did not use on-site spa or outdoor pool. Tracadie is a 3-4 minute drive away & has a large grocery store, a mall, Tim Horton's, Subway, Canadian Tire, restaurants, fast-food take-outs & all other shopping you might need. Val Comeau nearby has a beautiful sandy beach. ** Check-in located in SPA building @ far end of the complex. Staff bilingual & very pleasant. We had no issues whatsoever with our invoice upon check-in, as pricing was exactly as we had been sent in our confirmation email upon booking a few months prior to our arrival. Daily rates drop considerably in September! Would definitely stay here again!
