We spent the night at the Hotel de Bosrand after a day visiting the Kröller-Müller museum and the National Park. The hotel was clean and quiet, the room was spacious with comfy beds and places to sit. Breakfast was delicious and filling, with eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal, fruit and more. The homemade bread was wonderful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.
Very very basic hotel nice welcome I was in a single room you could hear every other room when people were talking I think I was in a cardboard cut-out room the breakfast didn't look all that is a very nice area to stay in 4 tourism I would only stay at this hotel for one night only it's ok for one night sleep two nights I don't think so hotel room was very very clean the bed not all that comfortable very low on the ground for a child height in my own personal view hotels not all that if you come and stay make your own mind up I think it was €97 plus the tax for one night there is a lot of better hotels for that price in my mind this hotel for one night I think it was only worth €60 not 95 look for yourself at the photos
The rooms are a decent size with two chairs to relax in after a day of sightseeing. Our bed was big and comfy. The room has a desk big enough to spread out and plug in all your electronic devices. A must is the free WiFi. We also make use of the undercover area to park and lock up our bicycles. The buffet breakfasts have everything you need to fill you for the day, from fruit and yogurt, eggs, bacon, sliced meats and cheese plus delicious fresh breads etc. Dinners during the warm evenings is served outside. They have a three course menu with a good variety to choose from.
I am grateful to previous reviewers for having lowered my expectations, otherwise my heart would have sunk as I walked into this hotel. It feels very basic. However, the staff are delightful, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and my evening meal was delicious ( tenderloin of pork)so as I am here for a conference (at the reehorst) it will do nicely, although it is a taxi ride away (around €16each way).
My ground floor room was dark and lights so dim it was difficult to get dressed in the morning ( had to use the well lit bathroom.
The amenities at this hotel are decent. The bathroom is nice. The bed is comfortable. These are really the only compliments I can give this place, because other than that, its location is fairly inconvenient, the food was very bad for the price (dinner consisted of way too large a portion size [and thus badly-cooked] of mushy and tasteless pasta for 13 EUR and the eggs in the morning tasted "off"), the furnishings and hallways look really uninspired and pretty cheap, and the bedrooms are spacious, but also very cheap-looking. My friend also found a tick on him when we woke up. The best part of the hotel wasn't even the hotel, it was how the outdoor areas looked, especially the park and forest nearby.
For 85 EUR, I would absolutely not recommend this place whatsoever; definitely go somewhere else if you have the option.
